I recently had a friend of mine tell me about the book 'On Becoming Baby Wise' by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam, MD. She and a few of her other friends swear by it. I was just curious if there are any other moms out there who have tried this method and found it successful (or not).

babywise is crap. it basically tells you to ignore your baby's cues and be on a strict schedule. schedules are nice, but you also have to be responsive to your childs needs. which babywise doesn't promote.
now i'm not all attachment parenting either, i think a good medium is what i like and what i feel is healthy for my children. babywise is the extreme opposite of what is healthy, IMO.http://www.nospank.net/granju2.htm
