Hi is there any way in which I can help my little angel to eat healthy.. What can I put in her snackbax to school? I think she eats too much bread.

Lots of fresh fruit and vegetables will help her tremendously and foods that are "Real" and not concentrated or processed. Fruits like mandarin oranges are nice and sweet and kids will think they are eating candy. I also use snacks like PBJ and cheese because you can't diet the kids too much because they are growing and need their nutrients. Sometime the simple foods are the best! Have a play date in the kitchen, if she sees you eating them as well she will more likely take the change easier.

Alot of kids drink too many calories by having too much juice. I only let my kids have 1 glass of 100% fruit juice a day. They drink lots of water.

Stop buying bread for a week! he he. My son is a bit the same. All the bread disappeared in our house for a week. It killed no one and he discovered that other food was actually edible. (as long as you don't replace it with too much pasta!)

Snacks like chips are unnecessary and very fatty.
Is she getting plenty of exercise?

What is she currently eating for all of her meals? This isn't just about her school snackbox, it is all of her meals which will affect her.

A balanced diet, lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy and whole grains. Get rid of any processed foods and cut out sugars and saturated fats.

i think you should consult a doctor before changing her diet because they can help with that an keep a weight record. what is she having now in her lunchbox.
