Has anyone tried OVULATION tests and became pregnant that month? If not how long did it take you?

Yup, used them for all my kids. Also tracked cervical mucus which was pretty dead on. I got my tests off of amazon.com, I got 100 ovulation test & 30 free pregnancy test for like $30, they are the same tests labs use. I was also able to test twice a day to catch that little 6hr window. Hell with 100 tests trust me you will figure out how to read them. I also found out I was ovulating much later than I though. I got pregnant with out 3rd child about 4 days before my next preiod was due. Fertilityfreind.com has some really good articles on how to track cervical mucus.
Best of luck.

I did the basal temp forever!! I had trouble concieving like I wrote before so per order of my OB I charted for over 3 yrs! What a pain!! Once I had kids and was getting up with them I couldn't use the basal charting, you have to do it about the same time each morning before getting out of bed. The saliva test is soooo much easier. you just put saliva on a slide before eating, drinking or brushing your teeth. Go back later once its dry to check on it. It will give you 5 days when you are fertile!! instead of finding out afterwards because then you see the trend in your chart.

i just started using the basal body thermometer and charting my temperature ...my gf said it worked for her... i bought it over the ovulation kit bc it was 40 cheaper and i can use it every month... ill let you know if it charts accurateky si far its only been 3 days and my temp has been the same if it goes up 0.5 then it means i should be starting ovulation.. but it also says alot of factors could affect its accuracy... we went off the pill in may havent been timing anything just hoping and well that didnt work so far so we figured wed try this/// we cut out caffeine thats a big thing and ive been taking folic acid

What worked for me is a Saliva Ovulation test. I had trouble concieving, did Clomid, injectables with IUI before having my son. After that I got pregnant the first month I tried, and 3 other times( most were losses) using the Saliva test. You only buy it once and can reuse it as many times as you need. Good luck!!

I tried them, but they didn't really work for me. However, I'm not terribly "regular" with cycles anywhere from 24 to 38 days. My understanding is that if you are more regular they work better. Really, if you pretty much have sex every other day or so during the middle of your cycle, you have pretty much maximized your chances without the tests....I can't remember the exact days, but you could probably even google it :). Good luck!
