Huggies came out with an organic, scent-free/hypoallergenic diaper, that we absolutely love! No eczema/redness on little one's skin with those. They are very soft (comparable to pampers swaddlers). He was good with the swaddlers, but when we switched pampers cruisers, he also had some kind of allergic reaction, so we switched to Gdiapers and nature babycare, until I discovered the new huggies. They are also very absorbent-- no leaks (son is pretty heavy wetter at night), and more importantly, no redness/breakout/rash.

Neither! I use Luvs. They seem to be cheap, but not too cheap (generic) and do the job. I must admit though I used to HATE Huggies. When my son was a baby, over 8-years-ago now, he always leaked out of them. They fit differently back then. It was like the front panel didn't have any excess to wrap around his hips. Kind of hard to describe, but to me they have been redesigned today. My 1-year-old wore Huggies when he was a newborn.
I have been lucky with both of my boys, they never had any reactions to switching brands. Luvs is what we use the majority of the time today.

Definately Huggies, i find pampers too thin so tends to leak faster and my son gets a nappy rush with pampers. Huggies tends to hold the pee, no leakes, no rash!

Cloth! No leaks, no poosplosions, no diaper rash. Soft & comfy. 2 extra loads of laundry a week. No extra garbage. No diapers sitting for 500 years in the landfill.

I have boy/girl twins and my son(tall and slender) did better in huggies, and my daughter(shorter and chubbier) did better in pampers. I used cloth diapers a good bit of the time too as there were not the issues with diaper rash for my daughter with them. She has very sensitive skin.

Huggies... the Pampers leaked, and she got the worst nappy rash while I used them. I've had only 2 leaks in 16 months with Huggies, no nappy rash, and they're much softer to the touch than the Pampers.
My son had the same rash problem with Pampers too. We stopped using them when we were in "zombie mode" (feed, change diaper, play for a few minutes, then back to sleep) for the first 1-2 weeks, so I don't think we really left the Pampers on him enough to leak lol. We're a Huggies family now.

I love Huggies! I could feel some kind of crystals or something in the Pampers. I've tried Luvs and they smelled like chemicals.

It seems most like Pampers, but I prefer Huggies. My children leaked a lot and they were the only thing that stopped it.

I find pampers softer, so I would think they would feel more comfy. :)

Pampers, definitely. For my kids, they absolutely worked better. Although, I have a friend who is just as passionate about Huggies!

My boys 6 and 8 now. But as far as pricing and no leakage I actually used a brand called White CLouds I think it was. They were way cheaper and I didnt have any problems with tearing or leaking.

I SO AGREE! We buy them at BJ's (a club store like Sam's) and the case is $25.99, where Pampers and Huggies both are $39.99 a case. And the Luvs have more diapers in the case too. I recieved Pampers and Huggies both at my baby shower and my son even as a newborn managed to leak through them. He has leaked once or twice with the Luvs at night, but if you limit how much he has to drink right before bed it solves the whole problem.

We've always used Pampers, from day one. We've never had leakage issues so didn't bother to try anything else.

It's an extremely contraversal subject isn't it? I've also heard that Pampers are for Girls and Huggies for Boys. I'm from the UK so we don't use Luvs but have tried supermarkets own brands and they were just as good as Pampers.

I love pampers at the moment. I also found that Huggies leak a bit. I also like the baby smell of the Pampers, reminds me of when my boy was born.

Neither, I use cloth. I don't like any disposables at all, they are crunchy and smell funny and people tend to use them as portable toilets, leaving them on babies way too long. Yuck.

I use only Pampers on my little girl. Was told by a friend that Pampers work best on girls and Huggies for boys. So I started using Pampers and will continue until she is out of them. I have had no problems with leaks or anything.

I like Pampers, but hate the price! So we just switched to Luvs as well :) I once heard that Pampers were designed for boys & Huggies for girls. ( maybe on here too.lol) My friends that have girls prefer huggies, friends that have boys, Pampers.

i love huggies for my son since there pee seemed to go in many directions i found huggies to be more useful in covering that and i do pampers for my daughter just because they are cheaper and im not worrying about pee going in other directions lol

Pampers - I found huggies also ripped alot when you pulled them closed. Also, a teen at a local high school did a science project testing the absorbability of diapers - Huggies scored the lowest and Pampers the highest.

we used to use huggies because they were cheapest at Sam's. but since we don't go to sam's for formula anymore, we have gone back to using Luvs. They are very inexpensive and work just as well, and it's easier to tell when the Luvs are full then the huggies or pampers, so i'm not wasting money by throwing away diapers that aren't dirty.

I found the same problem. I prefer Pampers. They seem to hold in the moisture, especially from nap time and bed time. My son doesn't seem to have as many "accidents" with Pampers as he has had with Huggies.
