We have used parents choice diapers since our daughter was born (shes 13 months now) and about two months ago maybe longer they have been changed they dont hold near the same amount of liquid they fall apart super easily and they cause rashes. I just wonder if its the diapers that Im having problems with or is my daughter developing an allergy. I know that Pampers have a recall is there one on parents choice?

My daughter has had the same issue. I took her into the doctor and at first they thought it was eczema but it didn't go away with the steriod cream. We went back and they thought it was fungal like as in ring worm fungal. I live in alaska there is no way she got ring worm in winter in alaska. The anti-fungal cream has been helping but not showing any signs of getting better. I'm not sure if the diapers gave her the little pimple looking dots that they think is an bacterial infection. Anyone elses child get those? Has anyone contacted the company and if so what did they say? Did rash go away once you changed brands of daipers

I have used parent's choice for both of my boys and never had a problem until they changed them. Now, my 2 year old is breaking out in a bad rash...like he is being burned. I thought he had a virus or something but it keeps happening. The diapers are also breaking apart even with the slightest amount of wetness and the tabs pull off sometimes. I am not happy at all with the "new and improved" diaper. I never bought anything else, but now I have to find an affordable diaper that won't hurt my baby.

i had the same problem! if you can spare the few extra dollars, try some training pants instead. they hold a bit more, and keep checking their bottom. i found that those diapers can only tolerate so much when full.

As for the parents Choice Diapers, yes they have changed I agree! It says it is a change with the sides being stretchy, but they do not have the absorbant or Fluffy layer as far up the back as they used to and they do not have the same fit or leak protection. They were my go to brand, but not having much luck, you can try high quality coconut oil on the rash it really helps.

I would call the company, Katie. I work for Pampers and I know we would to hear from you. BTW, Pampers doesn't have a recall going on (that is just a rumor). I hope your little one's rash is getting better! : )

I've always used Pampers as my daughter had a bad rash immediately after I tried the Parent's choice diapers. I recently ran out of diapers and borrow a Parent's choice pull up from my sister-in-law a week ago and instant rash once again!

I am also having the same problem! I have used parent's choice diapers on both my children for four years. However, in the last week or so my daughter has been leaking through them also. I will change her about 8:00 p.m. and she will have gone through her clothes by 2:30 a.m. We have also been noticing a rash. I thought nothing of it at first because I have always loved Parent's Choice better than any other diaper and have never had any problems, but now the rash will stay away as long as I have a cream on her but once it goes away and I put a diaper on non creamed skin, she breaks out. Bummer they used to be so good and so cheap!

I tried Parents Choice recently and didn't like them at all! I've always used Huggies and Members Mark, both available at Sam's Club.

I tried parent's choice with my daughter when she was a few months old and noticed she got a rash, but she also got a rash when she wore huggies. It seems the only diaper she's been able to wear is luvs except for pull ups. She's now 19 months old. My 2 month old only wears luvs aslo and has had no problems with them.

My son uses Parent's Choice. About a week ago he was leaking by the middle of the night. Other than that one night we haven't ever had any problems.

I used Parent's Choice with my older two children. I had been using the brand names with my daughter since I have had coupons. I bought some PC diapers a couple of months ago and ended up giving them away. She broke out in a horrid rash. I think the have changed something about them. If you sign up online with Luvs and Huggies you can get great coupons sent to you. I usually get $3 off coupons for Luvs so they are the same price as the Parent's choice.

There is no recall on any diapers right now... I noticed the changes with Parent's Choice as well, and I like some aspects, but not others. We use mostly Up & Up (the Target brand) and they are GREAT! I would highly recommend them. They are the same price as Parent's Choice, but they hold more liquid (great for all night long) and they have a stretchier band across the back to prevent upward poop leaks. :P

Good luck with whatever you decide to go with! :)

Both our kids got rashes from the Wal-mart diapers. We use Target brand during the day and Huggies Overnites for bed. Both work like a dream. If your daughter is leaking, go up a size and cut her liquids after dinnertime. The rash can be helped with some zinc cream and cornstarch at changing times.

I haven't had problems with leaking, but we do buy a size larger. I do find them to be a lot more flimsy then other brands so when I have coupons for Huggies I always get those instead....but you can't beat the price of Parents Choice!!!

I haven't heard of a recall on Parents Choice. I liked them for the newborn size, but after that they did seem cheaply made to me, and weren't very absorbent at all. I haven't had a problem with the new Pampers so far.

I would suggest going up a size as everyone has mentioned and changing more often. My son has had a diaper rash only once but we change him often. Also I hated Parents choice, I really like Luvs during the day and we use Pampers overnights @ night, the only time he leaks is if he has drank a lot before bed. I hear a lot of people like the Target brand of diaper also, I have never used them myself, as I rarely shop at Target.

Parent's choice is the worst brand I've ever tried. Wal-Mart used to carry White Cloud which were comparable in price but now I'm stuck buying Luvs cause they stopped carrying WC. Try going a size up at night and that should hold more urine and not soak through and might even take the rash away.

i used the same brand and i also started having some difficulties with them but we soon realized that it isnt the diapers! my daughter is just peeing more and the rash is from the fact that the diaper cant hold that much liquid in them so it started giving her a diaper rash the only thing you can do is start giving more frequent diaper changes and try letting her sleep in just her diaper and a t shirt

Well, I have used Parents Choice diapers since my daughter was born 13 months ago too. I had recently noticed that they leak through the night now. I will get her up in the morning and her pants are wet? they never did before? She hasn't had rashes or anything like that.
