It seems pointless to have party favors for a bday party let alone for a 1 year olds party. They seem so cheap and parents will just throw them away shortly after. But I feel somewhat bad not giving anything out. Is it horrible to not give anything to the kids at the party? I have kids from ages 3 up to 10 coming. Any ideas on something that may be useful and not a waste of money?

Giving away party favors is completely your wish; although kids usually expect them at the end of the party. They don’t need to be cheap and conventional. You can always buy good quality and useful party favors at whatever budget you have. If you give away the same old things that kids keep receiving, your favors will fail to impress the little ones and their mommies. Therefore, while deciding them, make sure you chose things that kids would love to receive. For one year old, you can consider Sippy cups, teething biscuits, bibs, squeeze toys, and any other inexpensive toddler-friendly stuff. Don’t give away candies, blowouts, etc., as the little ones won’t be able to enjoy them and moms would really throw them away. In short, choose favors that are unique and interesting. You have to do a lot of brainstorming in order to find the best ones but your child’s birthday deserves it. Here are links that will give you more ideas on party favors for toddlers.

Stickers are fun! You can never go wrong with those.. Maybe something like those little pistol water guns you can buy at the dollar store, kids love those.. Paint sets can be fun too and then you can get them all to sit down and do art for a bit.. lol.. Chalk is another fun gift kids like.. You can buy a cheap pack of the thick ones basically anywhere.

How about a pack of novelty stickers,all kids love stickers,they're cheap and easy to find in most stores.
