peek-a-boo baby tooth? What the heck?

My son is going to be 1 in about a week and he has yet to actually pop that first tooth. It just keeps coming up and going back down. I'm not kidding! One day you can see it and his gums are bulging up and you can actually feel the angles of it. Next day, GONE!!!!

Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm not really worried, it's just so weird! My first son had 10 teeth by a year old so I don't see why the tooth is doing that. I know that wisdom teeth are tricksy like that, but front baby teeth?

This happened with my second child. I was assured that it is perfectly normal. She also had a couple of her adult teeth come in behind her baby teeth. I freaked on that one. I thought what the heck; is she part shark!! One morning the tooth WILL stay there for good.

Every child is diffrent my first daughter did the same thing i would get so excited then it would be gone.until she was almost 2 then they all started coming in.my son they all just came 2 at a time. then my second daughter the same 2 at a time. no worries he will get them soon.:)
