My cousin is 15 1/2 weeks pregnant with second child. During ultrasound, Dr. found hemorrhage the size of her uterus' length. Has been bleeding off and on the whole pregnancy with pelvic pain. In the ultrasound, the mass is transparent, not affecting baby whatsoever. Baby is growing like it should be. My cousin, family and friends are very worried, Has anyone else been through this. Please leave advice! Thank You!!

actually Lindsay, when I was preggers with Matthew I experienced something related to it. It may have even been what mine was called, but I had cramping and bled almost my entire pregnancy. Very scary til they tell you it has nothing to do with the baby or losing the baby. The way I felt was, "Can't I have a normal pregnancy?" My first baby was 10 weeks premature. But actually Matthew was very healthy and weighed 8lbs 3oz. I was just happy to get thru my 7th month lol. After that it was like I was home free. Hang in there and we can talk on the phone if you like:) Oh by the way, my daughter is in her 6th month of pregnancy and she had to go to the Er for bleeding the other night, She strained too much going to the bathroom and Bled thru her vagina, but nothing baby related and the baby is fine. She is going to have a boy in April!

No one is a freak here. This is a medical issue and sounds very scary and worthy of keeping an eye on to ensure mum and baby are well.

What does the obstetritian have to say, are they worried? I would have thought that any pergestational bleeding was something to be checked out and then follow your medical professional's advice. if you are still worried, get a second opinion
