i had normal monthlys for 6 months but didnt know i was expecting, i eventualy went to my gp as i kept passing out, i had a daughter 10 weeks later by c section.

Hi I am pregnat with my second baby. I still have periods I am 5 months. I went to the doctor and both tests read negative. I know I am pregnant because I feel fetal movement when I cough, drink something surgury and when stomach is empty. I know the movement because when I was pregnant with my daughter i felt the same reactions. I look pregnant without a doubt. I know what Im feeling.

I had normal periods for the 1st 3 months of my pregnancy and have talked with other Moms who had the same experiernce.My son turns 30 this year!

With my oldest I had my period for 4 months after I got pregnant. I didn't even find out I was pregnant until I was 4 months, because I'd been having my period but when I started to have other pregnancy 'symptoms' I went to the dr & found out I was pregnant. With my middle child I found out I was pregnant right way, no period so I knew & the dr confirmed. I started having a period at almost 14 weeks that resulted in a miscarriage. With my youngest, my period stopped after I conceived & I didn't have one until after I had given birth.

I had my period for the first 4 months of my first pregnancy doctors told me it was completely normal for some women

Don't be too worried unless a doctor tells you otherwise, there is nothing to worry about. It happened to me and there were no issues with the pregnancy and my son was born healthy at 3.9 kg. If you are still not sure, see a doctor. It is always better to be sure.

Yes I bled through my first and second child.. I did not with my last . When you start loosing fluid that is clear and enough to wear a panty liner then go straight to dr and make them check the baby. My son was born sick because I had lost all my fluid . Dr said I was ok every time I asked so make them check if that happens.. The bleeding is ok unless it's heavy with large amounts...

in rear cases you can get pregnant again and have twins with different fathers and different conception dates. it is not as rare as you would think. you should use protection even though you are pregnant if you are having a period it could mean that you had a normal cycle. the egg is passing like it would if you were not pregnant. some women have 2 or more eggs and they dont always drop at the same time.

I had a neighbour who had her period during her pregnancy it lighter then normal but still a period, she had a healthy baby boy. To be on the safe side I would advise you to have it checked out like some of the other ladies wrote.If the doctor says you and your baby are fine I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck!

I spotted with my first PG. I had small periods while unknowingly PG for 2-3 months with my 4th child. I was on the pill and a busy mom of 3 little kids so when I was supposed to have a period, my body tried but knew I was PG and didn't really produce a full period. In hindsight, It was an interesting time of seeing my body work, knowing what the lack of pills was telling it to do and knowing it shouldn't. Best wishes to you.

yup ,sinthiya you right,i had also the same situation with my elder sister ,light bleeding cause miscarriage so ,when i got my my child ,during 1st week ov my pregnancy,i had bleeding,i went to docter,she told me that you r nt pregnant so,your period starts lately,but i still assist her to take my ultra sound then she did n found my baby inside me,then she told me bed rest and advice me 5days injection course of some medicine ,after some days bleeding stops nd never bleed again during my pregnancy,i got 7pound healthy boy..so please never take it easy,take bed rest nd go to a docter 4 cure..

With my first pregnancy I started out bleeding lightly but as the day progressed so did my bleeding. I had a miscarriage. If you worried I would seek medical attention.

i had a period in my 2 pregnancy. i went to my ob doctor and then to the hospital for test. then to a different doctor and finally i was told that i had miscarried. it seemed on one wanted to tell me the truth so they just sent me to another doctor. the ob doctor could have just told me... i ended up paying 3 bills just to get the answer that there was no answer. i had lost my baby at 13 weeks. my other 2 pregnancies i did not bleed at all. i have 2 healthy kids now. if i were bleeding and pregnant i would be worried, but i have also heard that it is normal for some. this is my opinion.

I had a light period the first 2 months of pregnancy with both of my girls. Doc told me it was hormones and my body adjusting to the pregnancy and it wasn't anything to worry about.

yep, with both of mine, I had a period on the first month - just a little bit lighter than normal though, after that it all settled down. I still suspected I was pregnant as sore boobs and morning sickness kicked in straight away even before my period was due.

i no over 2 people who had 'periods' during pregnancy, just keep an eye make sure its not to heavy, and if ur worried speak to ur doctor/midwife

Hi, Yes i can answer this one. I had this during my last pregnancy. What caused it was i was full of fibroid tumors that made me bleed from 17 weeks on till i had my son. Now, i didn't bleed the whole time but i bleed each and every month. Hope this helps any one that is wondering or is afraid of their bleeding.

I did, and so did a friend. My friend delivered her baby right on schedule. I delivered mine on schedule too---only she was 6 weeks premature! The doctor said that apparently I'd actually lost a baby and gotten pregnant again immediately. So I was being introduced to my new baby and finding out I'd lost one at the exact same time, which really cushioned the blow. Odd, but apparently it's not unheard of.

Not personally, but my mum told me she had lighter periods right thru her pregnancy, when she was having my sister. Apparently its normal in some people, ment to be a hormonal thing.

When I was PG with my Son, & this pregnancy too I bleed like a period for the first 3mos. My Doctor said it was due to Placenta Previa (sp?) & was also told it's not that uncommon.

My sister had light periods for the first six months of her pregnancy. Her doc told her it was more common than you would think, but if it was heavy bleeding to get it checked out.

I had heavy bleeding at the beginning of both of my pregnancies, but no periods. My bleeding was caused by burst vessels on the placenta though.

Yep Kristal, pretty much a proper period every month for the whole pregnancy. Not as heavy as usual, but like Kate, a couple of days of light bleeding, not spotting.

I was advised by my doctor to get it checked out and have a scan every time it happened because medically it is considered to be abnormal in pregnancy, but she also reassured me each time that it is not as uncommon as you might think.

I did with my oldest and my youngest. (2 out of 3) It's more common then you think and so long as it's not dark red and you're not cramping it's nothing to worry about.

I would bleed once a month every month while pregnant with my daughter and it lasted a day or two. Enough blood to need a pad.

I have always heard this could happen but when you read books and things online and ask doctors they have told me it is impossible. That some women "lightly spot" for a couple days and consider that a period. Are you ladies having full on normal periods? I'm very curious about this.

I did with my daughter. And it wasn't spotting, either. I was freaked out like you wouldn't believe. She was my first pregnancy and every time I had a bleed I ran to the ER. She was a very healthy 7 pounds, 9 ounces when born.

With my first pregnancy I bled every month just like a light period, and the pregnancy resulted in a very healthy baby girl who was nearly two weeks late!

I have with two out of 3 of my children. My first child I bleed like clock work for 5-6 months, my 3rd child I bleed 8 weeks in just once.

How far along are you? I have heard of women "spotting" during pregnancy, but have all checked with their doctors to make sure it was normal. Also, when you are getting close to delivering, "show" can start happening.
