I have had regular cycles for 9 months...exactly 28 days, except for 1 time..29 days. Now I am a week late and we have been trying for our third child. The tests are negative and I don't know what to do. The dr doesn't seem to think I should be seen until I miss another period. But I need to know whats going on! This has never happen to me before! Any advice?

When I was pregnant with my son who is now 7, I did test after test and none ever showed up positive at the time being only 17 Doctors told me that its prob just my periods not being regular N will settle down over time... Anyway didn't get my periods for 3 mnths and finally they sent me for a blood test and turned out i was almost 4mnths pregnant by then. Test measure on high HCG a hormone which increase during pregnancy.

I had two negative test before I finally went to my doctor. I took one at one week late and another at two weeks.Sure enough at my doctors appointment, surprise I was pregnant with our second!! Just let your doctor know you are concerned. It's better to be safe then sorry and I'm sure your doctor will understand your concerns. Good luck :)

I had 10 negative tests from 2 weeks late to 1 1/2 months late. Never to get a postive test and have a wonderful son that was never "postive"

I sure hope you have a bun in the oven! Some tests may be too early to tell at this point. Have you had any extra stress, a change in exercise, or been on medication of any sort? I find that those things sometimes affect me.
