Does anyone own a "Pillow Pet"? I have seen some commercials on PBS Sprout for it, but I've also seen commercials for "Your Child Can Read" on there too and every parent I have spoken with has said it doesn't work. Is the Pillow Pet a good thing?

My kids got them from Santa for Christmas - 8, 6, and 3. They love them They are very soft and snuggly! They make a decent kids pillow or can be put together to make a cute stuffed animal that stands on all fours.

I bought my nieces each one for christmas. I don't know if they sleep with them, but they are older. My son is getting one from Grandpa and grandma for his birthday in april. I don't see it being a problem, depending on age. How old is your child? anything over 2 i would think is fine.

I don't see the harm in having a pillow pet. It's just a pillow that is shaped like an animal right?

I've seen the commercial, they're cute. I think though that those should wait till the child is 3, just to make sure they don't smother. Just a thought :)
