Yes. this happened to me too. I asked the doc and she said it was all normal. Two years later, this is still happening. No worries.

Yes, having a period every month is vital for your body, it ensures thing's are cleaned out and all is working well in there. I know it is not the best to have a period while being sexually active but it is not the best to not allow your body to go through the natural stages of cleaning out your female organs. Spotting is completely natural while introducing new chemicals and drugs to your system. Note* While on any type of birth control your body is being deceived into thinking that it is in fact pregnant.

If the blood is heavy or very "bright" red then you should see your doctor, other than that it is completely normal. Sometimes it takes almost a year for your body to get use to the hormones in the pill. These symptoms should go away soon.

Totally normal, even when your on the shot like Depo which causes no periods in people, you can have spotting. This is just called break thru bleeding, no cause for alarm.
