(this is a repost because we TRULY need your help and this post went down pretty fast-thank you for understanding.) My daughter is doing a Science Fair project where she has to invent something. She's doing a shoelace alarm system where if shoelaces become untied, a buzzer will sound so that the person will tie their shoe and prevent from falling. She has to ask a series of 4 questions to about 30 people. If you could help us by taking this mini-survey for her, we would truly appreciate it. Question: #1) Do you think that an alarm on your shoes to let you know your shoes are untied would be useful? #2) Do you think you would use it? #3) Do you think others would use it? #4) Please write down your comments. (Thank you very Much!)

#1) I would love to know when my shoes come untied, especially when exercising!
#2) I think I would use it at the gym
#3) I would promote it to other adults and kids at the gym and on the playground
#4) This is a great idea!! Good luck

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to all our WONDERFUL moms who helped us with my daughter's project. I am very happy to say she has received 2nd place on her Science Fair invention. God Bless you all!

It would be useful for older people or those that are blind. I wouldn't use it. I do think it could have a place in the "elder" world or the disability world. My grandmother had perpheral vision only. She wore "tie" shoes and would have done well to know if her shoes were untied so she wouldn't slip, fall, and possibly break a hip! Good choice!

#1 yes I do,#2 I would of loved having these for my sister she is handicapped and loved to walk how tripping over her shoe laces was dangerous. #3 yes if yo have toddlers it would be a great idea. #4 I think as long as the buzzer is small enough not to draw attention to itself it could be very use full.

No problem, I'd be glad to help..Question #1.  Not for me really as I don't usually wear shoes with laces. However, for my children yes.  #2 and #3.  My 11 year old probably not, but my 3 year old yes.  My son and I love science fairs, we participate annually with our home school group.  Remember, there is no bad invention/experiment:)

1) I think it would be useful
2) I'd probably use it more for my kids than myself as I double knot all my shoes when I am wearing them. =)
3) I'm sure there are a ton of mom's out there who would use this!
4) I think this would be great! Especially for young kids who are just learning to tie their own shoes. I know my daughters were always coming undone when she first learnt because she didn't tie them tight enough, if she had something like this then I don't think there would have been so many scraped knees from tripping on her laces!

** Good science project btw!! =)

1. Very useful for young children! Market to moms.

2. I'd buy it for my 3 year old daughter instead of having to look for shoes that don't tie.

3. I think that others would use it if it proved successful and had some testamonials behind it.

4. Anything is possible with the correct marketing... I'm always amazed at what people come up with in the sake of convenience. :O)

Have fun.

Yes, especially for older people who can't see their feet (not a joke)
No all my shoes slip on
Yes, men especially
Sometimes your shoes come loose and you don't know it until you trip. This device will make people aware before they slip

1)I think it would be very useful, If my shoes were untied.

2)I would use it if it wasn't bulky.

3)See answer number 2

4)Good Idea, sweetie. It'd definitely help children whose shoes come untied a lot!

#1) I think it would be very useful for young people.  #2) I would use it for my children-absolutely.  #3)  I believe they would.  #4)  I think that this will help so that young people won't get hurt by tripping on their untied shoelaces.
