Hi Keri, it's just over a week since you last wrote an update and I have actually just come across this story. I'm so sorry to hear of this poor little baby's suffering but I too believe that God is real and that He will answer the prayers of those that know Him as their Lord and Saviour and love and follow Him. So, I will be praying for this little baby boy and his Mum and family. Can we have a name for the Mum & bub so I can get our church to pray too? Also, do you have an update at all? I have 3 little kiddies of my own and although I have never experienced such a difficult time in their lives, I know how precious each little life is. Your friend will be going through a valley, but the Lord has promised never to leave us nor forsake us and this is certainly true in such a trial. Almighty God will answer our earnest prayers... and I pray He will deliver this little one from the trials and give his Mum and family strength, peace & joy.

Your friend is very lucky to have you to care so much about her baby. I am praying that her precious boy pulls through this. I'm certain that the doctors will do everything they can for him but a little luck and faith never hurt anybody. You are a good friend x

Heavenly Father, I ask that you give this precious little baby the strength to make it through. Be with his family and give them all peace and also strength. Dear Lord, I pray that you would heal his heart and help him not to have any more health problems. God, lift him and his family up and let them know that you love them and will not leave them in their time of trial and need. I know God that you are watching over them. Please Father, heal your child and allow him to bless his family and fill their lives with joy. Thank you Lord for listening. I pray that all these prayers for him are heard and he will recover soon. I do believe and I do believe that HE will answer. Sometimes it is not what we want to hear, but I will pray for this child, truely it is in Gods hands. Sometimes we go through cituations that are not understood for the moment, day, week, or years, but sometime down the line, we do realize as to "WHY" the cituation appeared in the first place. I will pray for this family and I ask all and any out there to please do the same.

If you believe in a blessing please get one.. It does not matter the religion.. But a blessing will help this child get through.. There is always LDS staff at any hospital that would be glad to give a person a blessing.. And the parents a blessing too so they can cope with the babies sickness

Hi Carolyn,

I do know and understand what ur family went through, i was born with 2 heart murmurs in my aorta to the heart, the valves are only half way in place and in the late 60 they did not offer what they offer now, however the success rate is great i have choosen to live the way i live as iam ok when i follow orders and i need to be here with my kids as well.. so ur very right God is Good and he will perform miracles when he needs to and he needs too...

Y ou bet i will pray for ur friend as well as her two week old baby.. iam not sure what it feels like to have open heart surgery but I can tell u that i know whats it's like to live with a heart condition as I have what they call Valvular heart disease.. and i have to still be careful what i do and take meds etc.. but i will keep this lady and her child in prayers as well as i will get my children to say an extra one before bed each night...

so tell them to hang in there and were praying for them and the baby too..

Keep ur head held high and all will work out for the best..

Hello my name is carolyn and my granddaughter was born with a hole in her heart and was missing her right valve at 3 days old she had a balloon in to cover the hole and a shunt in to get oxyen to her blood.Then at 3 and a half she had major open heart surgery and now she is doing great she will need more surgies as she grows but my prayer's are with you and your family god is good
