Potty training for thick babies

My daughter had that exact same issue. i just taught her to wiggle them down and try n pull them up n i would help her if needed. when ur at home u can but like pj pants on her or stretch pants so she can get the hang of goin wen she feels the urge. wipin will be hard to for her if she has thick porkchops. we are still tryin to master that and my Ava is 3. We tell the children to use their thumb as a fishing hook and "hook" the top of her panties under her bum and bring the fish up and out of the water. Then she will probably have to do the other cheek next.

Naked training is the easiest way:>) Even the little ones get sick of accidents and potty running down their legs.. Iv heard it called the 24 and 72 because they will be trained in 24 hrs and the carpet cleaning will cost 72-Hehehe mine took longer than that and i have wooden floors but it is most effective-Good luck

I just thought I would add to the posts. My boys ran around in long t-shirts and no bottoms in the beginning stages of potty training. It would probably be easier if you let her run around in a medium length dress and no panties just to get on with the training without the frustration of panties. Then as she feels more accomplished you can add the learning how to pull up and down the panties. Wish you the best!

She's only two. I would wait a little while. If she can't pull her pants up and down on her own, she isn't ready. Big butt or not, when she is able to tackle this feat without any help, then you'll know she's ready. Good luck.

my son is the same way, he uses diapers instead of pull ups and i help him and teach him to pull the back befor the frunt. he needs help once and a waile but over all hes got it

My daughter got frustrated, too, with the pulling pants up and down part. For a while we just focused on getting to the potty on time and doing her business in the potty and I pulled her pants up and down for her. After she mastered that part I started giving her an M&M or sticker if she would *try* to pull her pants down and there was lots of clapping when she succeeded. Looser pants and underpants help, too. I know some moms don't like "bribes", but it kept the whole process fun for her and me... no more tantrums!

Get looser underwear is my only thought. That or wait till she evens out a little bit.

I don't know if she will even out, her butt is huge, lol :)

My only problem is that she gets too frustrated and then she won't even try. But i will try bigger panties, maybe thats the problem, her panties fit her just right. Thanks everyone

Show her how to grab the back of her panties with her hand facing away from her and the front of her panties with her other hand when she pulles them up and down. Guide her with your hands explaining how to do it. With one hand behind her, it could help get things over her bum.

Also, while training, maybe get some panties one size too big. Loose enough to come off easier but not so big that they fall right off.

My daughter has a badonkadonk too. lol but i dont have any trouble getting her big girl panties up or down. at first i did with pullups but i went to the bigger size that is the only think i can think of. hope you get it figured out.

hahaha...my daughter has a big butty too....she get that from her daddy's side..hahaha...but she has the same problem. I just taught her how to bend so she can pull them up and down easier...LMBO at "Thick BABIES" hahahaha Girl I know all about it! Chase is 2(July 14,2007) and she has been Fully trained since September 9. I mean doing number 2 and accident free! She was having the most trouble pulling down pulll ups so she just start snatching them off. But since we transitioned to "BIG GIRL PANTIES" it is easier for her to get them down...Good luck girl!!! :)
