similarly , i had experience almost all preg signs ..... doc did urine preg test but was negative. doc suspected malaria n conducted malaria test which was also negative .he gave me malaria drugs but i hav decided not to take it until i am sure i am not pregnant. i would not want to hurt my little one in there.hope this helps.

Well my last period was July 2008 and i took about 3-4 pregnancy tests and all said negative but i eventually went to doctors and had blood tests done for different things and when they came back they said i can tell you your pregnant but do u mind doing a test jus in case and i did and i was pregnant. When i went for my scan to see how far on i was i was 11wk and 3days. So much for 'u just know when ur pregnant'. Thats what ppl told me!!

I did lol! I had all the symptoms, light period, everything you are goinng through, and I'm 22 weeks pregnant. Sometimes, it depends on the test, in which case some of the tests are defective. Good luck!!!

You know i've never spotted with my first pregnancy or spotted with this one when they say that implantation happens, and my first pregnancy went like a dream..... i guess it doesnt happen for all women?

i tested negative last monday - 2nd december but tested positive yesterday 8th december, i did the home test in the morning when the hormones are highest in your pee ....

I had an issue like that. I took a pg test, came out neg. Took another 2 wks later, neg. Started having horrible stomach pain, got dizzy, etc.. Went to doc, for the pain and came up that I was pregnant. Had an ultrasound, but the pics didn't show anything but fluid. They thought I had and Ectopic pregnancy (egg implants anywhere other than the uterine wall). Had emergency surgery. Turns out it was a ruptured cyst on my ovary. And I ended up miscarrying. I really don't mean to scare you, but go back to your doc and ask for an ultrasound or blood test or both

It didn't happen to me but I've heard of it. If you've had spotting get a DR apt ASAP especially if you are RH negative! I started spotting during my last pregnancy around week 11 and needed a shot juts in case the babys blood came in contact with mine and theres was positive. I got the shot a little late and now I'm worried I was RH Sensitized.

Also, it is VERY common to spot a little when you would normally get your period if your pregnant, but should always be checked out by a dr.

I took three negative pregnancy test when i was pregnant with my 2nd after two more weeks of being late i went in and had a positive blood test. I had a period also during all of this. The dr told me this is actually pretty common.

that is how it was when i found out i was pregnant. i missed my period on Oct 31 and saw my an OB-GYN in the middle of Nov and she said i was not pregnant. i found out in Dec that i was. My doc just thinks that my horomone levels were not strong enough to show up on a test yet. hang in there.

When I took a home pregnancy test, it was negative. However, I was still late so I had my health care center at school do a blood test which came out 100% pregnant! I agree with everyone else and get a blood test done!

My sister had a little girl 4 months ago! She did not know she was pregnant until she was 8 months along. She had taken multiple pregnancy tests because our family kept telling her she looked pregnant but they all came back negative. She was having monthly bleeding so she just assumed she was gaining weight. it wasnt untl she went to the dr for her blood pressure that they had her take a pregnancy test because her stomach was firm. She was told she was due in 6 weeks!

My situation wasn't quite like yours, but I did have negative results when I was pregnant! I happily found out 2 weeks later when I decided to take another test before starting the fertility tests again. Considering the pain though, I would ask for a blood test. You need to make sure everything is ok.

With my 5th pregnancy I just knew I was but the tests I did came back neg...finally asked a doc to examine me and she did a blood test. I was 16 weeks pregnant! She is 19 yrs old now :P Also my sister felt pregnant and did 3 tests which all said neg, I suggested she see her doc who did a blood test and she was 7 weeks and now had a 4 yr old from that pregnancy. Get a blood test done!

I had 5 (In 2 months) neg test with my second! i knew i was prego i just knoew it but the tests kept coming beck neg.! FINALLY i took one and it came back pos. HAHA i ws thinkin u know maybe i was 8 weeks along... lol come to find out i was 3months prego!!!!! so yea it happns!!!

I agree with some of the comments below too. I did experience this with my 2nd child, I didn't have my menstrual cycle yet so I thought maybe I was pregnant. I took a test & it came up negative, then 3 weeks later I was constantly getting sick & my husband said he had a feeling I was pregnant. So took another test, nothing! until I went to the doctor & they confirmed with a blood test that I was indeed pregnant about 8 weeks to be exact. Also for the first 2 months I had spotting. Cathy below is right, some women's hormone levels are all different, see your doctor again, get a second opinion, demand an ultrasound even. I received one of those internal ultrasounds to determine how far along I was.

I had a negative pregnancy test and a negative blood test. Then finally I got a positive blood test. When we went to the doc. I was 7 weeks pregnant. I would try another one.

My own mother had a negative result on her pregnancy test when she was in fact pregnant with me. Granted, that was late 1982 (I'm an '83 baby), and pregnancy tests have greatly evolved since then. As it has been said, you probably have low hormone levels; a blood test should reveal whether you are expecting or not. Good luck!

Go back to the Doctor! I had dizziness, back pain and I was really emotional. (still am and my little one is 8 1/2 months!) If any foods make you sick to your stomach even the smell, thats how I knew and didnt even take the test yet! The stomach pains you should go get looked out! Like I said go back to the Doctor!

I had a test that was negative only to find out a few weeks later that the product had been recalled (for what reason i'm not exactly sure). Then when i missed my period again i did another test and it turned up positive. As a few of the others said I'd definately be going for a blood test just to be sure.

i wasted so much $ on preg tests. I went to docs thinking something was wrong with me only to find out i was pregnant with 1st child. i wont be buying the preg tests again i will just go straight to doc. Goodluck

I knew someone that had negative pregnancy test results. She had to get a blood test done at the hospital. For some reason after her first baby her hormone levels weren't as high with the last 3 and wouldn't register on the test. Go back to the doctor and get the blood test done just to be sure. You want to know if you're pregnant so you can start taking prenatal vitamins and such.

The doctor told her that it was all in her head and refused to do an altasound. Finally, when she started feeling the baby kick, she went out of state to find a doc that would actully listen to her.

If i were you i'd go see as many doctors as it takes to get an answer. Be be pushy and demanding if you have to.

I have not experienced it personally, but a friend of mine took multiple home urine tests over 2 months and they were all negative...meanwhile she was getting more pregnant by the day.
I'd go back to the doctors and make sure they do a blood test to dectect HCG hormones in your blood.

But.......ummm....I had all the symtoms your discribing with my second pregnancy....and, well, it ended badly at 12 wks. So, please, demand the doctors help you now instead of later. You know, just in case.

Nope. Whenever I was four weeks late,I was just late due to stress or something of the like. More than likely if you were pregnant,a urine test would be posisive by now(unless you just have unusually low hormone levels). But if you're not convinced. Just get a blood test.

I did 10 tests that were negative but i kept doing them because i knew i was pregnant. Its instinct and sure enough test number 11 was positive... I went to the doctor, had the blood test and found out 3 days later i was in fact pregnant... The next day i booked in for a scan, that afternoon I found out I was 9 weeks!!!

Urine tests are not always correct, blood test will tell you for sure, If your doctor won't give you one, go elsewhere. You know your body and if you are convinced, it's probably right...

Hi, sorry you are experiences these problems. Most pregnancy tests are very accurate, but anything is possible. I am very suprised your dr. told you to come back instead of running a test. I would take another test and see what happens, it could be stress making your period cycle change. I wish you the best of luck.

hi hun its never happened to me but my sister didnt find out till 26 weeks the doc did plenty of urine tests blood test even scans he said she was going through menopause at only 24 she was dam sure she was pegnant she went for yet another scan an it was confirmed doc said it was very hard to detect an very unusual

Some woman don't have as high hormone levels, which is what the prgnancy test detects. I would demand a blood test!!!
