I had a D&C done on April 21st along with laproscopic surgery to have an IUD removed. I bled for about a 5 days after and I had my period 3 days before my surgery. I have yet to have my period, I had some very brief spotting May 19th or so, just for a couple hours and it was pinkish orange then a light brown. I took a pregnancy test on Friday and it came back neg but when I checked it 10 mins later a very very very faint positive showed. I'm not sure how far along you have to be for a positive to show? I feel some pressure in that area but no pain or cramps...I'm like 11 days late, does anyone have any advice? Thanks :)

I took another and it was negitive. I could also be as little as a week and as much as 5. I guess i'll have to wait. I had cramping last night then this morning a very tiny bit of spotting, since then there has been nothing. It's a very good possibility I am, Thanks for everyones advice :)

I took the digital test when I was pg with my 3rd child. It spelled out the positive (which I thought was false at the time) at a very early stage.

Take an EPT digital test, when all other tests read negative for me this one spelled out the word pregnant. It kinda takes the duh factor out of it, at least for me, so I'm not there squinting at lines. You could always have a serum HCG test run, & then have another 72hrs later to see if the #'s are increasing.

it usually takes up to 6 weeks to get a very bright line so wait a few days n take another one

You have to check within the time that they say I think it's usually 5 minutes otherwise the results are not accurate. Also try taking the test the first time you pee in the morning that is when the hormones are the strongest and it will eliminate that faint line, however like the others said it doesn't matter how faint it is if it's there your pregnant!

I always take at least 3 test. I do know if you wait till you are 4 weeks then you will know for sure. Like all the other girls said, Take another one!!

definately take another one, because any results after sitting are not accurate (i called the 1 800 number about this before) . but as katherine said, a pos is a pos when it's in the proper time frame (the hormone that the tests use are not in your body if you're not pregnant)...

With my first child on the first test it was negative but then I went too early even though I knew I was. Went back a little later and it was half positive and half negative. The Dr laughed and said we will assume you are pregnant.

I would take another test, like Katherine said Any line is a positive even a faint one, but you did leave it sit a little to long and I am really not sure if that would effect your outcome
Good luck :)

Any line no matter how faint is a positive. That's what my doc said anyways. Take another one :)
