There's always worries during pregnancy and the second's no different. Try to relax, the risk of rupture is very slim. I had a section 6 months ago about 2 1/2 years after my first and they said it was a risk but a very very small one. Natural birth was recommended as the safest. Incidentally too, I knew when I was 1-2 weeks pregnant, there IS a test that tells you that now! Lots of luck :-)

In the first place a rupture is a 1% chance. I had two babies, 18mo apart with complications. My kids are fine. My c-section was barely heeled when I got pregnant. A woman's body can do incredible things, especially during pregnancy. Don't worry! Worry causes complications. Go with the flow and enjoy it.

Uterine rupture is extremely rare during pregnancy even for those who have had a c-section. The risk does increase during labor but is still extremely minimal. I just had a vbac and my children are only 2 years apart. Of course if you are very scared having a second c-section is probably the way to go.

I have had 3 children all deliverd natural, so I am unfamiliar with c-sections. but 8 yrs sounds like plenty of healing time. Try not to worry, it's not good for you or your lil angel growing inside, take deep breaths and one day at a time. I'm sure you will be fine! Enjoy the pregnancy and try to stay healthy!!!! =:)

I had 4 yr between c-sections no problems but if your still worried talk to your doctor they are their to help good luck.

Dont worry its been a while since your last c section, my friend had her 1st and then her second 19 months later, both c sections and all was fine! No stress is best so try not to worry and all should be great with this baby! Good Luck!

I have 3 children (22 months between the 1st and 2nd and 17 months between the 2nd and 3rd) and I had all three via c-section with no problems. My first was an unplanned c-section, and after that my doctor recommended scheduled c-sections for the other two births. I think most c-sections are scheduled a week or two prior to the due date to avoid the chance of going into labor, which may put you at a higher risk for complications once you have already had a c-section. I know some doctors regularly perform vaginal births after cesarens (VBAC) with no problems and actually recommend it. With your pregnancies being 8 years apart, I would think the risk would be very low of something rupturing. There are 6.25 years between my first c-section and my second. The pregnancy was a bit rough (though not as rough as my first since my first was twins), but that's mainly because I was 30-31 instead of 24-25... Zero issues w/ the c-section and I healed up much faster from the scheduled repeat than the semi-emergency first one.

If you are talking about VBAC.... I have no personal experience and extremely limited knowledge, but have seen that the chance of rupture is VERY small.

I am curious how you would know you are pregnant at 2.5 weeks (thinking you mean months?) since that would mean you only conceived a few days ago and are still about a week and a half away from a due period.... No pee test is that sensitive....

Your body takes about a year to heal after a c-section, yours have had 8 years. Should not be any complications.

Women get pregnant a year or two after their previous c-section. I don't think they have anything to worry about. Are you sure you are only 2.5 weeks pregnant. I don't even think it is possible to know that early.

Eight months after a c-section I could see a remote possibility of a rupture but 8 years after? Highly, highly unlikely. BUT, if you are really worried about it, talk to your doctor about your concerns. The best way to get over a fear of something is to arm yourself with education about it.

It's been 8 years since your c-section? I think you're risk of rupture is minimal to say the least. And you said you're 2 and a half WEEKS pregnant? Are you sure you don't mean 2 and a half MONTHS?
