dont worry about it at all, all babies develop at different stages, one of my granddaughters also walked late, moving on her bottom for a long time, whereas her older brothers walked much earlier, she will walk when she is ready, same as babies who talk later than others.

My daughter didn't walk until 16 months and neither did I. Just make sure she get's enough floor time and has furniture to hoist herself up on and she'll walk when she's good and ready.

Do you put her in a walker? It helps to stengthen their legs.My daughter never crawled.

Encouraging is a good thing....we use to put her on our feet standing up and walk her around. She was also propped up on the couch or the coffee table when possible and in no time she was trying to figure out how to get from one end to the other. AT my father's work apartment she would go from the coffee table to the nearest piece of furniture and back again.

All babies walk in their own time. You can help encourage her by placing toys away from her for her to grab or reach for. If she is already standing up, you can help by holding her hands and have her try walking with your support. Just give it time and soon you will be chasing her.

Let her keep practicing. Cruising along furniture, holding her hands as she tottles. Every child is different and there is no set age to start walking or talking, etc. My advice-don't rush it. Before you know she will be running and you will be trying to keep up.

Just let her develop at her own pace. Is she standing up yet? Crawling? It is not unusual for an 11 month old not to be walking. She will evenutally get herself up and then there will be no stopping her!!
