you may want to look into allergy or milk/soy intolerence. if formula feed you may need to try another formula or if you breast feed you may need to modify your diet if your child's problem is related to millk or soy issues check with you child's md.

He has been to the doctor and they say it is just a cold. There is nothing we can really "do" for him. We have put up a humidifier and have started using a saline solition drops for his nose. Which has helped.

It could be a milk allergy if he bottle feeds. If you breastfeed, it could be a problem with something you're eating. Ask your doc.

My first step would be to seek medical attention from an Ear Nose and Throat ped physician they could tell you some things or meds that may help him to breath easier and may even out grow this problem after a certain age. I know the adenoids dissolve after the child reaches puberty so that might be something I would find out about for sure.

he should see a pediatrician for that who would probably prescribe albuterol and nebulizer. this is the fasted method works almost instanteously. the other method is use a humidifier or vaporizer with menthol.

Aw that's a hard one because milk their Breakfast, lunch and dinner makes Phlem harder to break up. I think patting him on his back like when your burping him a few more times a day might help break it up so he can either cough it up and warm fluids which at his age can only be milk push it down into the stomach where it can't survive. he will get better soon.

i use an aspirator to suck the phlemm from my baby's nose. i use a product called fess, this is a nasal spray with saline, this loosens the phlemm. The aspirator is just a little thing you squeeze before it sucks. hope this helps.

Have you checked with your doctor, it could be an underlying issue with the lungs. If you formula feed, it could be milk allergy also. Good luck!
