It's a respiratory system virus. Some side effects are like a cold; coughing, raspy throat, fever, throwing up, and runny nose. Some kids get so bad they have to get admitted to the hospital because their oxygen level goes way down.

My 10 year old had it almost every year of his life. It's an upper respitory virus. He has asthma now, from all the scar tissue it caused in his lungs. It's a very serious virus, usual has to be admitted into the hospital and be put underneath a oxygen tent. their oxygen level goes way down, they always put my little boy on theophian, misspelled, but anyway makes them very hiper. make sure u have help tending to your child, literally makes them climb the walls. My little boys stomavh used to extract alot, like he was fighting to breath. Hope everything goes well, I know what your going through. Good luck

My three month old daughter was diagnosed with Rsv about a month ago but it went away within a week with the use of a neubulizer.
