My 5 month old is really spoiled by others. At this rate her crawling is not moving as fast as it should because others spoiling her picking her up,holding her all the time, helping her with just about every little thing at any whimper or whine. Now she wants to be held all the time and gets VERY mad when she is put down for tummy time? Any advice on how to break these habbits? She's not progressing as fast as she could be because of others spoiling her.....

You can't spoil a 5 month old baby.

My son was held (or in a bouncy seat or swing) almost 24/7 and was crawling everywhere by 6 months (army crawl at 5, rolled everywhere at 4).

Your kid, your business on how you want to raise her and who/when you want to hold her, but kids develop at all different rates and a 5 month old baby not crawling (or even not trying to crawl) is 100% normal.

For starters a baby can't be spoiled. They get used to certain things being done.

You need to let others know what you want, like not picking her up when she starts fussing etc. I had to put my foot down when my 3rd was born and my MIL and SIL came out to visit for 2 weeks. They would pick her up at the slightest sound and I just told them not to. They respected my wishes as they were going back home (the other side of the world) and I was going to have to deal with it later.

Your daughter is probably also getting frustrated since she knows she wants to move but can't quite do it just yet. That's a good thing because she will then keep trying to move so keep up with the tummy time.
