Liana was on formula from the time she was born to the time she was 2 years old, never wanted milk. 9 months ago she did drink milk for just 2 months but it was only like 2oz a day and that was all. Now 7 months ago she completely stop drinking milk, Yes hads like 2 yogurt a day and string cheese but i still dont think its enought. She wont drink water just juice and soda. I have calcium deficiency and im only 25, i stop drinking milk when i was 10 so imagine.

Waht can i do for her to drink milk? she like shakes but 2oz and then she would stop drinking.

She doesn't need milk, but I would cut out the juice and soda in your house completely. If I remember correctly, soda consumption is HORRIBLE for calcium absorption.... She can have water or nothing (if she were my daughter, that is).

If you keep some juice it should be calcium fortified orange juice once a day.

The yogurt and string cheese are good. There are also quite a few nondairy foods that contain calcium. A multivitamin with calcium and a little bit of sunshine can help too.

Try chocolate milk! My daughter would not drink milk after I finished nursing her! The doctor suggested chocolate as it is sweet! Also try pediasure!

HI yea i have and she eat good thing... i just worry bc i dont want her to have the same problems i have. Its hard bc she dont eat cereal and i keep pushing her to eat or drink thing that have milk, that some times she ask if it has milk. So i guess i have to just lead her keep having the little milk products shes wanst untill she likes milk on its own.

We do a calcium fortified orange juice with vitamin D for my son who doesn't drink milk. He eats a lot of calcium fortified foods like spinach and broccoli, you can also buy calcium fortified cereal. If that's not reassuring talk to your doctor about appropriate substitutes.
