Should i have another child?????

I really want another baby, well i feel like i do I'am a mam of a boy aged 10, everyone keeps saying i should have had another one by now but its the money, going back to work that makes me think really hard about it, i'am with a new partner well we have been together 7 years and he has not got any children.
part of me is saying going for it and the other is saying hold back abit
i understand that only us can make that happen but i feel like am stuck in a rutt and dont no how to get out of it.

any advice would be great thanks

Thats so nice to hear, about your husband adopting your son he sounds like a top guy, i think i should go for it!!because if i dont i think i will regret it, and am sure when or if the bundle arrives i will deal with what ever may come my way, but i have always wanted at least 2 kids and am sure i will cope with money and child care issues when it comes to it,

you have made me feel alot more possitive with just that small comment thanks, and may your life be happy with your amazing kids and husband ,

I had my oldest son before my husband and I started dating. He has never met his father, he is 12 years old.My husband and I have had 4 more children. My husband is very involved in all 5 kids lives. He adopted my oldest son and treats him just like the rest of the kids. Every man is different. It is normal to have some doubts, but you should not let your fear run and possibly ruin your life. If you don't want more children, don't have more. But don't let it be because of your fears!

Thanks for your comment, i think am scared because my sons father promised me he would always be in our sons life what ever happens and hes done the oppisite.
Hes not seen him in 6 years nor does he pay child support even tho thats not so important about the money and am worried i will go though the same thing again with my now partner,and dont want to bea single mam.

I really dont want to have these thoughts but cant get it out of my head, what i mean about his life not changing is i was so used to doing everything ie.... getting up every 2hrs for feeds bathing,changing, even finding babysitters was always my family that helped never his
i just dont want to go through the same thing again So sorry if am going on just dont no what to do.

Talk to him. Find out how much he will participate as a parent. Make a plan. Don't act like all of this falls on you, unless you are planning on being a single parent, he needs to be an active father.

How can you say his lifestyle will be the same? Having a kid changes both partners lives. If you are hesitant, then wait. Talk about your concerns with your partner, and make the decision together. If one of you is not ready, then neither of you are.

yeah,he says he does as he thinks hes going to get to old. hes 30 next month am 27. he sees his mates with there kids and hears them talking about them, but ive tried to explain how hard it can be, but then again its hard for me as its my life that will change, his life style will stay the same i really cant think how his life would change. Its such a big commitment and once done theres no going back
