Both of my boys started walking at 15 months. And It's not an intelligence thing, either. My 2 year old knows all the letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and recognizes a bunch of words.

i wouldnt be concerned as your daughter is holding on to furniture and walking she will take a few steps on her own when she is feels more confident, if you wanted to encourage her by hold 1 or both of her hands and walking around with her but really there is nothing to worry bout as every child develps at diffrenent ages

my son was not walking at his first birthday. He began to walk around 13 or 14 months. If kids have older brothers or sisters they tend to walk faster. Hes 9 now and runs like crazy.

Quoting Patricia:
Every child develops differently. Both of mine were about 13 months or so before they got brave and took off walking on their own. Is she cruising around furniture or walking with you holding her hands? If so I wouldn't worry. She'll be running soon enough.
yeh millie-mae is walkin around the furniture and when ya hold her hans.. she is also walking with them my 1st step walker things i thought she should be walking by herself now.. she dusnt go in a baby walker would that make a difference

All children walk when they are ready. My dd walked at 13 months, my ds at 10 months. Don't rush, they get there fast enough.
