Oh for sure Dove, that's what I said earlier, I just don't think it's something to get hysterical over or anything. They definitely need to learn it's a private thing.

They kind of shouldn't but there is nothing abnormal about this behavior and nothing you should be worried about. It's completely natural for kids to explore with each other and their age difference is pretty close so it's ok that they've done this.

The best thing you could do is tell them that it's ok what they were doing, and that type of touching feels really good, but it's a private touch. You can touch yourself when you're alone (in bed or w/e) but you shouldn't do it with other people until you're married (or older or w/e).

Unless they're doing extremely sexual things (trying to do penetration or something) if they just figured out about touching that's totally natural and there's nothing wrong with it. They just need to know that that type of touching is meant to be private for ourselves.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

It may not be a 'big deal' that it's been done, but it needs to be stopped and dealt with. Every time my youngest tries to touch one of his siblings (none of them care about being naked) he is redirected and reminded that he is not allowed to touch anyone's private parts and no one is allowed to touch his private parts.

It may be normal curiosity, but it is still inappropriate behavior and they need to understand this... and if they don't stop they need to have their opportunities to be doing this eliminated.

If it was a 9 year old and a 4 year old it would be worrisome, but a 6 and 4 year old, that happens. It's not as big a deal as adults try to make it out to be.

No. When are they getting this opportunity? How are you dealing with it when you find them doing this?
