Target brand diapers are also a good choice, i was having the same problem but not had any since i switched, plus they are cheaper

I think Huggies overnights work the best and you may want to up his size. Aquaphor is also a very good skin protectant.

I liked the Pampers Swaddlers when my twins were first born, but once they started sleeping through the night Huggies were definately my favorite. The supreme hug their bodies really well during the day, and the overnights worked really well for me from about age 5 months. We wear Pull-Ups during the day now, but I'm still using the overnights at night. The diapers just hold way more than the Pull-Ups...even the overnight Pull-Ups.

I always covered my kids bottoms in desitin before bedtime as a precaution. Vaseline or A&D ointment might be a slightly cheaper alternative, and you could put that on his tummy too if you wanted. I also used the nighttime diapers, but I bought them a size bigger than the one they wore during the day. The bigger the diaper the more they hold. You might also try using those plastic diaper covers that are meant for cloth diapers just to keep the diaper contents from getting onto his tummy.

I had the same problem and switching diapers did not seem to help. I looked for the diaper doublers that were talked about in one reply and was not able to find them so we used a diaper that was one size larger than normal and then used a depend brand liner in it that did not have plastic on the back of it. It worked like a diaper doubler and stopped the leaks.

I have to set my alarm once a night to get up and change my son. If I don't he wakes up in a puddle. I've tried Huggies and Pampers, even the overnights.

My son (7.5 months) keeps soaking through his diapers at night. ur just gonna have to get up at night and change him.. the samething happened to my daughter.. i switched to huggies swaddlers and changed her in the middle of the night.. when she was a bit younger it i had to change her every 2 hours..

We had this problem with my son and pamper's diaper's we switch him and started using Huggies overnight diaper's it really seamed to help. Another thing we did was cut back on how much he could drink at night and change him right before he goes down for the night. Trying changing the diaper manufacture and see if this helps you.

What I did that worked is at night I put my son in the next size up. So if he wore size two I put him in size 3 diapers, they will swim in them but they will hold more. They actually seemed less bulky come morning, and no leaks. Something worth trying.

I have always used luvs my son pees alot during his sleep and you may actually need to go up a bigger size and they will hold more. But if they do leak you can call the number they are guarenteed not to leak thru. And they will send you a coupon for what you paid for them to get a new pack, even if you buy them by the big boxes. Hope you have some relief.

My daughter was a super soaker and we were using PC and we has to switch from those to LUVS and she does not soak through those. The other thing I could think of to help you out is the change the diaper just before you put your child down for bedtime.

We use Luvs and we do have to change him again before we go to bed and he dont even move when we change him. If he does we just give him like 2 sips of water in his bottle to sooth him back down.

Hey i have had that problem so much with my daughter, i used to use huggies flat out but i find they get full too quick now. i swear by SORBIES. They are quite cheaps and come in a pack of day and night nappies, they are extremely awsome i reccomend them to anybody, usually u can by them at coles and iga stores... good luck xox

I had same problem with my first born. Started giving last bottle earlier and changing diaper around ten even when she was slightly dosing. She seemed to sleep longer with less exploding diapers. I also changed to the Huggies version of nighttime diaper seemed to hold more and they were cheaper.

Are you putting him to bed with a bottle? If so, you may consider stopping. Also, if you slip in his room right before you go to bed (given you go to beed hours after your child) if you are quick, quiet and don't turn a bunch of lights on, you and swap diapers halfway through his sleep time without disturbing him to much. Most likely he will sleep right through it.

I had the samething happen to all 3 of my kids. And it was not the diaper. After a month or so they just stopped having extremely diapers.I believe it is just a stage. Now none of my kids got bad rashes b-cuz of it so I would keep putting diaper rash meds on him, Hope things get better

I have switched from Luvs to Huggies. My son soaks through his diapers like mad. A diaper can only hold so much pee, and instead of waking your child up in the middle of the night just to change their diaper if they are peacefully sleeping, you just want to let them sleep. I always wash my son's bedding things, because of soaking through, so my next option is the overnights.

I had the same issue with all three of my boys ( still have it at night with the youngest) Try another brand.... each one of my boys had a different brand that worked best on them. If that doesn't work DOUBLE DIAPER him! I thought it was crazy, but it really works! When he was in a size 5 I picked up a small pack of size 6's to try it... ta'dah! the bigger size will catch the "over flow" of the smaller size.

i find pampers dont work as well as huggies..we've only had it soak through a couple of times depending on how much fuid he takes in throughout the day...

there are two things u can do...1..put two nappies on him (the outer or 2nd nappy a bigger size ...or 2...change him in the middle of the night or when u give his last feed...

You could use the next size up of diapers for night time, maybe those would absorb better. And I used a thin layer of Vaseline on my babies to keep the wet off of their skin.

That sounds crazy! My kids never peed in their sleep - but when the diapers started leaking, I just went up in size and they did not leak anymore. I never used overnights, just regular diapers.

My daughter is now a month old.To be honest I have teenagers and pampers and huggies just dont make their diapers like they used to.Ive been through almost every type that both brands make and so far i use Huggies snug and dry... I breast feed so we have problems with number 1 and 2 ...If u know what I mean....I am going to buy a bag of luvs because I switched my older kids when they were younger to those and they were better all the way around than Pampers or Huggies... Im still frustrated with the whole diaper situation myself

i have to agree with the other moms. i cant stand pampers. i find them so thin and i hate the lining they have in the diaper. huggies is soo much better. my son at one point was peeing right through the pampers as well. i have never had a problem with either of my boys peeing through huggies

if your lil 1 is a light sleeper plz do NOT change them during the night as we all know being a mother is a 24/7 job and we need as much sleep as possable the reason i say that is if we arn't at our best we get stressed and that then impacts on our children so for them to be good we neeed to be on the ball and it is best not to disturbe them for the more sleep theyget we get so best not to disturbe them they rely on us for everything so we've gotta let them rest

i found huggies and pampers left my daughter soaked right through but cien nappies were fantastic my wee girl slept 12 hrs solid a night and shed be bone dry every morning with them and they were quite chep priced to so that was an added bonus

I can't stand Huggies. My son peed through them and had blowouts. I got a big box as a gift and couldn't wait to get rid of them.

I have not had problems with Pampers or Luvs, they work great. Although Kirkland Signature (from Costco) is awesome as well (and a great deal).

I don't feed my son too soon before he goes to bed, and I usually change his diaper before setting him down for the night. That works for me!

I just bought the huggies over nights for my 8 month old daughter, and I STILL have to change her in the middle of the night!! I dont know how all of these other moms are getting through with them NOT leaking..... the first night I used them, my daughter woke up SCREAMING because she had a very full and soggy diaper!! :( I use Luvs for my daughter personally..... they are much slimmer, and hold a LOT more than ANY other diaper I have tried.... And they are MUCH cheaper too!! I spent $12.00 for 20 something diapers for the huggies overnights!!! :( I wouldnt recommend them!!

I have to agree with the other posts. My daughter soaked through her regular Huggies around that age & we went to Huggies Overnight and they worked great. Also, you might not like this idea but maybe try changing him sometime in the middle of the night.

use woolworths select nappies BUT get 1 size up both my babies slept threw the night from 3weeks old and I had the same problem in the begining but found this out and just a tip for nappie rash use amolin if that makes it worse use a fair bit of talcome powder but not to much as it drys out the skin. if i can help you with anything else plz let me know

huggies are better than pampers.. i used pampers wen my baby was a newborn then switched to huggies an i havent had a problem yet.. but i agree with the others put sum baby powder on him an change him in the night if he wakes up for a bottle or even if he's asleep.. i've changed my daughyter an she never knew a thing

i went through that i went to luvs and never had it happen angain and if they do leak jsut send a diaper and recipt of purchase they will give you your money back and they are cheaper than the huggies or pampers i hope it helps
