you know one thing that I just thought of was try to go and get a chiropractic adjustment...they can do it for pregnant women... I remember now that I got one on my due date and I went into labor at 2am that next morning...the reason she said it helps is because it puts your pelvic bones into alignment so that the baby can drop down further into place, this will also help your back considerably! also...I found that swimming really helped my back, cause it evened out all of the weight I had up front...I just thought of that so I thought I might share that too!!

You can't self induce... It's a load of Ballony... I tried everything twice... And then some... They come when they're good and ready

I did everything suggested as well. Sex, raspberry leaf tea, walking alot, spicy food (and I hate spicy food). My eldest was 14 days late and my second son was 8 days late. After that I booked an induction for my daughter the day she was due!

I remember being able to eat more spicy foods because of the position of the baby.
If you are looking for self-induced methods I would recommend having a ton of sex. Sperm helps soften and thin out the cervix. My fiance and I did up until the birth, and in the end my little monkey was born a day early.
