You're not on your own here. One thing you can try is when you change him wipe his feet with a wet-wipe and then dust them with a little Sodi-bicarb. It works well in most situations and it is used in fabric conditioner, it certainly will not hurt him.

keep his feet dry and let them air out before putting socks on. Use light socks and no shoes (kids don't need shoes until they start to walk and it's better to let their feet grow naturally for as long as possible before enclosing them in shoes).

Try using some corn starch powder to keep his feet dry. Burt's Bees makes some for the diaper area but it can be used for this, too.

You should talk to the doctor about the smell when you go back in or just call and see what the nurse says. They will probably tell you what to do over the phone without even bringing him in.

Try washing the baby socks with baking soda to get rid of the smell on the socks.

My father had stinky feet. We took A gallon of water and 1/4 cup bleach and soaked them every couple of days for a month. Now his feet smell like feet. No bad odor. I would ask his doctor fisrt though. I don't know if it would harm him.. Hope it gets better.

I have a daughter, she is 7 months old. She has stinky feet too. I bath her every two days,but I have to wash her feet every time I change her diaper. It's normal for kids to have stinky feet.

my son has stinky feet too! It started when he started to wear shoes. We found that not letting him wear his shoes inside has helped a lot (but it's hard because he loves his shoes!)

This gonna sound weird but boil some tea bags , let it cool (of course ) and then soak the babys feet. something is the tea takes away the smell. I think it came from the dr oz show.

I think babies feet sweat alot, maybe because they have so much fat on their feet.

Well you have to admit it is kinda cute!! 2 main cause of smelly feet are sweat and fungal or bacterial infection. Do you keep him in heavy socks and closed toe outfits? my try lighter socks or no socks or try some Baby Gold Bond powder. Also make sure that after his baths his feet are completely dry before putting on socks. Have you noticed any redness or cracking around or underneath his toes? This could be a sign of a fungal or bacterial infection and should be looked at by his Doctor. But no matter what bring this up at his next well baby check up. My son also had stinky feet and it turned out he had athletes foot, and he was only 6 months old. He is now 13 and still has bouts of it from time to time esp in the winter. Try the powder and talk to his doctor!

both my boys had cheesy feet aswell lol i dont know what causes it or how to get rid but they seemed to grow out of it (for now) but my youngests feet stopped smelling around 8 months when he started standing
