Mmm i dunno about the period thing coz i havent had a propper period since i gave birth. They didnt check my ovaries though. I think I'll ask my doctor about getting tested for all the suggested problems :)

it could me a muscle that is across your ribs i had a very similar pain and nothing then i saw my friend who is a masseuse andshe checked me. Because of the pregnancy and breast enlargement muscles that i dont use caused the pain and got knots in them. going to your belly button could nerve reactions.

mm im thinking youve damage a ligament or tendon somewhere there and its being agrovated when you pick up bub or do something like that.ive had 8 children and had pubis sympisis disorder twice.my baby is eighteen months and i still have that random pain.I shouldnt as i no longer have the hormone that sets it off.but if i pickup something of the floor or a child i still have alot of pain.ask for a ct scan as it will show everything.its very detailed.it also could be referred pain from somewhere else.another thing im thinking is its your stomach.i had attacks that made me vomit and doctors couldnt figure it out.i remember telling them it was a burning sensation.very painful.i took asadofalis[cant spell]tabs from the chemist and it went away.good luck with finding the problem..

That's what happened to me during pregnancy and it was my liver swelling..... my blood pressure was very high. They called it HELLP syndrome. Not sure if you can get this after, but I'd keep watch of blood pressure too, maybe you're becoming diabetic.

I figure I may be late but, I have had this problem for a while now and my baby is now 2 years old. It turned out to be acid reflux and it was pretty bad. I have really bad pains to the point, it hurts to breath as well as walk. Even trying to stand up makes it hurt more. My doc couldn't figure it out either until I saw a GI.. He found the problem right away.. Hope this helps you.

this sounds like a gall bladder attack, i had gall stones. i agree with jobeth, do the reduced fat. i was also put on omeprizol to protect my stomach. i am pleased to say i know longer have a gall bladder and very pleased. good luck! and if you can ask to be refered to a specialist until you get a reson for the pain!

I had this same type of pain while i was pregnant with my son and also a couple months after i had him and it was because my ribs were out from all the kicking of the baby inside. It was absolute agony and i didn't know what it was either but i saw a chiropractor for a different reason and he found out about my ribs too. I had to go back a few times to fully fix it but haven't had a problem since.Give it a go.

Yeah, they checked and found nothing. But i will DEFINATELY try your suggestions. :) I might go back to my gp and ask them to check my gall bladder again....

I am assuming they found nothing, but this sounds just like my gall bladder probs. which did not occur until after I had my son- about 10 months after I had him... They found nothing until last November- about 7 months after problems first occured. Reduce the fat in your diet- I mean down to practically nothing- the most fat that I took in a day was 11 grams TOTAL. Stay away from beef and dairy, they are irritants. its between my stomach (just under my boobs) and spreads down near my bellybutton. Painkillers dont seem to work and occasionally a heat pack lessons the pain but not by much. I writhe in pain for hours and cant move or walk. I've thrown up from it the past few times.

The first thing that came to my mind was maybe chest pains that could be anxiety related, or even gas pains. I have had both of these and I get pains in my upper abdomen. You might try taking gas-x when your having this pain and if it goes away then it could just be gas and if its not you might talk to your Dr. about anxiety. Hope this helps!

I've been to 3 doctors so far. One shrugged at me and said "it could be stress", my gp did the above checks and a different doc said it could be my large intestine "so don't eat for the next 24-48 hours and see how you go".

All I can say is after I had my boys my cramps before my peiod are horrible. They make me double over in pain and I have to lay down.. They happen out of the blue and I take some pain meds and about an hour later they have lessened to what i would consider normal cramps.

I'm Very sorry that you are going through this.... I myself have not experienced this with any of my pregnancy's but I wanted to make the suggestion of maybe getting a second opinion might be worth while, Sometimes if they cant find anything wrong but you continue to feel pain somewhere it takes going to a few different dr's before actually finding the source!!!!!!! Good Luck Hun and I hope they find whats causing it!
