I have really bad stretch marks. I had my daughter over 2 years ago so they have turned from pink to white. I heard now that they are white there is nothing to do for them, is this true? I have tried oil from Pure Romance and cream from Avon and neither of those helped. Any suggestions?

Just think of them as honourably-earned "battle scars" and try not to worry about them. Just make sure you avoid tanning, as stretch marks don't tan, so then you wind up with these white stripes on a tan body, and it makes them even more noticeable.

Ye I heard once they turn white you are pretty much done. I have tried bio oil, baby oil, olive oil, and cocoa butter. Cocoa butter works the best, but not the Palmer's one. The one I use is called Queen Elisabeth Cocoa Butter. It has a brown cap and the tub looks yellowish because of the cocoa butter. It is in African beauty supply stores

I used Mothers Friend (a long time ago), while i was pregnant. I gained 55 lbs with first one and 45 with second one, and i do not have any stretch marks at all. I think you have to use while you are pregnant.

I'm using coco butter lotion and it works pretty good. Mine have faded a lot since I had my daughter 19 months ago. I hear bio oil is really good, I'm going to try that one out and see how it works.

My doctor told me stretch marks are always going to be there.
He said they will eventually LIGHTEN and the only way to completely remove them is laser surgery =[ SUCKS!
Mederma is said to lighten them. and of course the coco butter.

There isnt anything to do for stretch marks once you have them, no matter what colour they are. Oils only work before stretch marks happen, not after.
