hi

im just looking for any ideas on good and helpful books to read on toddler discipline or prevention of them getting into mischief in the first place?

if any one wants to throw out any other good book ideas while theyre at it go ahead! (novels or self help..whatever! i just finished diana gabaldons outlander series and i tell everyone they should read it its awesome, so if youve read anything lately that is noteworthy let me know!!)

Hi, toddlerwise is pretty good. By Gary Ezzo. I like all their stuff - they go from pre birth right through the teenage years and I find it really helpful. They have a DVD series as well which you can run like a course.
Terrific toddlers by Mel Hayde also has some good ideas and suggestions regarding schedules and activities which I find helpful in the sense that when I manage to be proactive in organising myself and my little girl (21/2) then there seems to be less need for discipline.
If I think of any others I'll let you know. I love books - good conversation topic!

so i was given a book called "how to behave so your children will too" - i have to say not only as a mother but a childcare provider, it is a pretty good book if you have patience to implement it's ideas. (requires alot of repitition to begin with but then what doesn't what you're dealing with a toddler?)
