I am 7 months pregnant with my second child and we know (as much as one can:) that it is going to be a girl but we are having the HARDEST time trying to find a girls name! Thought it would be easy with a girl, my other child is a boy named Ethan, but we can't agree on anything! We are looking for something unusual but not strange...suggestions would be great! :)

One of my favorite names of all time is Zoe (although my husband definitely wouldn't agree...luckily, we had twin boys, so there was no argument)! When I was pregnant, we had all girl's names picked out...and then I had 2 boys!

One name we had picked out and a name that I love is Mia!
Post when you decide!

My youngest daughters name is Skye Taylor, although she was a twin and we lost her, her twins name was going to be Summer Rayne(Rain). I love both the names and had a difficult time choosing the one that Skye now has over the other. Hope this helps. I also have a daughter named Tiffany, Jamie and Ashleigh. but always liked the names Kaitlyn and Savannah.

Also I have 2 grand daughters named Alexis Lynne and Azkahdelia meaning winter rose, it is Indian her middle name is Corrinn

I wanted Aeryn Grace for my daughter, but went with Erin instead (I wanted her to have a normal name, but not too common). I picked out Rebecca Jo and Mackenzie Lynn for my sons. We stuck with not too common but still normal names because I always hated having an unusual name as a child. Just remember to think about how people will pronounce the name if you go the unusual route.

My daughter's name is Logann Marie. She is now 11 and has yet to meet another kid at school with the same first name. Also, my nieces names are Mackenzie Skye, Kylie Madison and Ingrid Lauren. I have always been partial to boys names for a girl.

My husband and I had a really hard time deciding on a name that both of us liked so we bought a baby name book and started reading it until we both found a name we could agree on - She ended up with the name Lauren Rose. Have fun.

We named our baby Caedran pronounced (Kay-dren) it means pure and is welsh for Katherine. We also threw around Lila, Addyson, Wren, Arabella, & ileana. We like different names. I don't want her to be one of the 5 Jennifers in her kindergarten class, know what I mean? My cousins all name their kids the most popular names for the years they were born. There's Isabella, Ella, Emma, Chase, Collin, Tristan, Sarah, Victoria, Bailey, Ryan, Jadan, Graysen, & Gavin. To me those names are all too popular. I wanted our baby to have a unique or just plain different name.

My daughter's name is Silina, her father got it from a street sign he seen in another town. Odd place to find a name for a baby, I know, but it seemed to fit right. Buy a baby names dictionary, maybe you can find one for the family heritage you or the spouse come from.

We had great difficulty choosing our youngest girls name she was 2 weeks old before she was named!!!.... we couldn't agree and were like you and wanted something a bit different but not too out there so in the end we called her Brigette Rose her big sister is Holly Maree. I really like the girls names Willow, Lailani, and Maye. Good luck and dont stress too much, we had fun with the family after Brigette was born trying to name her, like I said it took 2 weeks after she waas born!!

My daughters names are Marrah Tyler Elizabeth & Maizie Thomas Elexus! I wanted to keep their initials the same as well as carry on some family names like Thomas. Since I can't have anymore and boys weren't a selected option, I gave my girls typical boy names as well! I chose Maizie because I wasn't supposed to be able to have any children, Marrah was our first and thought to be last, so when Maizie appeared, all I kept thinking was that this is "AMAZING!" A slight adjustment and "Maizie" was "born" derived from Amazing! Look for something symbolic in your life that represents the way you feel about you newest arrival to be!! It'll come to you...or you can use my girls names!! LOL
