My 16 month old is not speaking very clearly at all? The only words she speak clearly are Mom, Daddy, Thank you and no. And she want identify anything like her toys and sippy cup with words, she just points.

That sounds about normal. My son is 3 and still doesn't speak clearly all the time.

At 16 months, you have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! Encourage her to speak when she points by saying the word but don't push it. So if she points a her sippy cup you get it and say "sippy cup?" and then hand it to her. But some kids don't speak clearly until they're 2 and sometimes not until 3. She'll be JUST FINE! Enjoy her and don't worry!

all babies develop at their own rate. As long as they can hear you and understand you, I wouldn't worry at all. My nephew was over a year old and never said a word, but listened attentively whenever anyone spoke, It didn't matter who they were speaking to or what they were talking about. Then one day out of the blue, full sentences! He is 22 now and hasn't shut up since. lol I wouldn't worry. Just keep talking to her and use proper words, no baby talk and babbling. read to her, this will help her identify and recognize common words. She will speak when she is ready and you will be wishing she woud be quiet again!
