Texting, Email, Facebook, Facetime, Skype, Instagram, Vine, Snapchat, Twitter...I can't keep up! I am trying to educate myself, but personally just don't enjoy it. Although I have no reason to believe my teen girls, 14 & 18, are being inappropriate, I do worry that simply TOO much emphasis on being constantly in touch is, in itself, unhealthy. I want to say "Look up"!

We laptops at that age and were using myspace etc.My parents made clear rules about when we were aloud to be on our laptops.Personaly my hubby and i dont have facebook and i also dont have a smartphone so we dont have whatsapp, but everybody else in my family has.My sister made the rule that when we eat together her boyfriend and evetybody else must put there phones aside. Also when we go out together for example to the lake for a grill and swim together. The phone is put on mute.I cant stand being at a restaurant and the people always check there phones while eating.Maybe you could also make rules about when they may use it and when not.
