I got yeast infection from antibotics I was on about a month ago. (I'm currently 28weeks pregnant) They prescribed me a pill to take and it cleared it right up. You should check into that, there is cream they can give you also but the pill was so nice. I just took it and by the next day was feeling alot better.

I think you should go to your doctor and see what he/she has to say or a local clinic.
We all can give you all the advice in the world, but your OBGYN will know what is best for you and what to do for you for a yeast infection while pregnant.

I was at a breastfeeding group one time and someone suggested that cutting out all yeast until it was gone works. I didn't do that, I had a cream from the doctor. You can find this cream reciepe on this site.

I went to one of his seminars and I learned so much. If you have questions you can email him and he replies back. It is a wealth of information on his site.

my thrush infection isnt in my mouth and eating yoghurt helps to balance out the bacteria - acidophilus and it can also be inserted into the vagina but i dont feel comfortable doing that

Thrush is a yeast infection in your mouth. Adding more bacteria to the mix ie yogurt, may not help. I had a thrush infection when I was pregnant and I cured it by brushing my tongue. Try it, it may help.

Try acidophilus, the active bacteria that you can take orally. It is also found in cnaberry juice, plain yoghurt. Good luck

Hi, my name is Shannon Zanger, and I'm new to the site, but I noticed your quesiton. Have you tried eating garlic in your food? It kills yeast, and sometimes can have a great effect on thrush! On the other hand, if you're nursing a baby at the time you have thrush, it may change the taste of the milk. In that case you could just back off of the garlic. Hope that helps!
