is anyone else using the tizzie hall SOS method? I am confused about catnapping, in one section it says if your baby wakes after a single sleep cycle, eg nap then get them up and keep them awake until after their next feed until its sleep time again, but in another section it says to get them up and put them in a swing or pram to encourage them to sleep longer. what do you do? what works for catnappers? my 3 month old twins sleep 12 hours overnight so they know how to resettle themselves if they wake but cant seem to during the day.

With my son (7.5 months old) he has ALWAYS hated to go to sleep so I keep him awake. At best he'll sleep for two hours and need to eat again but normally he sleeps and 30minutes to an hour. some times he'll take two naps but most days its just one. I've found that he sleeps better and goes down better when I keep him up than if I try to get him to go back to sleep. good luck!
