Do you believe that it is okay to say "Poop" or "Pee" should I be using urinate or bowel movement? Should HE say "tinkle". Please help...

I use pee and poop too. It just seems to adult like to say urinate and BM. Although that's what my mom refers to it as in front of my daughters. It's hilarious to hear my 2.5 year say,

'Mommy, I just had a BM!"

We use pee and poop. Some people do use urinate or bowel movement but really I think it's up to you. I found that poop and pee are easier for my girls to say so it's making the potty training easier for me :)

I prefer pee and poop over dookie, tinkle, dump, crap, I mean I think that is the most innocent and to the point.

I think that is fine, I say poop and pee, but I sometimes call his penis his pee pee. He corrects me and calls it his penis. He also knows that girls have a vagina (he has a little sister and asked where her penis was). I think it is important to call body parts the correct thing, but I certainly don't expect my child to call his poop "excrement" or "feces" or "bowel movement".
