Toilet help! Advice please :)

My partners son is 4. And still won't wipe his bum, he knows he as to, and he knows how to do it because a few times we watch him to make sure he is doing it properly. But we refuse to do it for him, e is a smart kid, he as been told and knows he as to wipe his bum, but he doesn't. I think it's because he is lazy and can't be bothered. But it always wrecks his underwear and makes him stink! He starts prep next year....and he can't go around stinking out the room. And he lies about it too. We ask him if he wiped he will say yes but later I'll either find a gross scene in his underwear or that the toilet is still full. My partner is so frustrated because we have tried everything, it's just laziness! He doesn't care if he smells or if he gets a sore bum it's weird. Any ideas though?

Haha, I think that you should give him a reward or some sort of small prize, like a sticker. Talk to your son, and tell him that every time he wipes his bum, he gets a sticker! Tell him that he's a big boy now and needs to know that it is important to wipe his bum. Hope this helps!
