Totally confused

Me and my x had sex on the 6 and I came on the next day it was pinkish and my period is due on the 10 my breast been hurting for a month now .when I came on this time it was bright red ...im very confused someone please help me

I got implantation cramps like you described with all of my pregnancies, and with my first daughter I spotted - at times heavily - for the first 12 weeks. I have a friend who was pregnant at the same time and she bled so heavily for a few weeks she expected to see an empty uterus when she had her scan, but there was a 9 week fetus and strong heartbeat, and she had a healthy baby girl at 39 weeks. My ob said 50% of bleeding goes unexplained - so it does not automatically mean miscarriage.

My hubby and I learned that it seems to happen when your not expecting it! It does sound a lot like what happened with my hubby and I when we had a miscarriage the first time. But we were 9 weeks in and didn't find out until the first ultrasound (as the doctor told us everything was fine at the ER). Good luck!!

My Implantation bleeding was about the same as what you are describing. I knew quickly I was pregnant through a blood test, so I can't really attest to the pregnancy testing but I would say in about 3-4 days if your full on period hasn't happened to take one. If the pain gets more violent you need to go to the DR. And of course if the blood is dark.
PS- Don't mess with those digital things, their junk.

I used an OPK this cycle and I definitely had a LH spike and we did the baby boogie...but it appears I am 4 days early. I'm throwing some clots (not anywhere near the size they usually are, but they are there) and I'm having to use a tampon. I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant at the moment but we shall see what the morning brings. :)

Use an ovualtion predictor, the kind you pee on like a pregnancy test. We used on and 13 days later I had a positive pregnancy test, the day I was supposed to get my period. I never had any bleeding, but I did have cramping. But it was different cramping, instead of the usual twisting feeling, it felt more like stretching. Good luck!

It'll happen when it's supposed to happen. My best friend had tried for 10 months to get pregnant and had gone to her doctor for some fertility drugs. She didn't even get the prescription filled because she found out she was pregnant. Don't think about it too much and don't stress over it because your body will work against you if you do.

I bled for 2 days like a period with both of my kids when the egg implanted. I read that some women still get a full period during their first trimester. I'd go see your Dr.

Well ladies I thank you all for your support and input. Sadly I have to accept the fact that I'm not pregnant. I am currently having my period. So we'll try again this next cycle. This was our first real cycle to attempt getting pregnant so it's not too surprising to me that it didn't happen this time around. I'll admit that I'm disappointed but we'll just give it another go! Thanks again for y'all's help. Means a lot to me. :)

It's not uncommon for women to experience slight bleeding at the beginning of a pregnancy due to implantation. I'd wait until after the 6th for a test, though, because the chance of a false negative is higher.

I spotted through nearly my entire pregnancy, starting with the day after I took my pregnancy test (and got a positive). Twice, I bled EXCESSIVELY. Like, more than was reasonable. It turned out I had a subchorionic hematoma. Didn't hurt my son at all, but my doc had me on bed rest (which actually didn't do much to help the bleeding). I thought I would have a respite from the pads, the period misery and instead of bleeding once a month for several days, I bled nearly the entire time (I had maybe a month where things were good). If you are pregnant, I hope it is something like this and not a miscarriage. But you might want to take a pregnancy test, and/or see your doctor for it just to be sure about everything. :) It couldn't hurt, may just cost you some copay but for piece of mind, it would be worth it right?

Well my last pregnancy I bled the entire time. I had at least 3 trips to the ER for heaving spotting. I also had cramps and serious morning (all day) sickness. But I don't remember them coming this early...maybe I'm just not remembering right. Normally my period are very heavy with lots of clots and lots of pain. This time it's light (for me) no clots and little to no pain. I'm doing a little experiment today. I'm going to use a panty liner and if it's too heavy a flow for a panty liner then I'm going to assume it's my period. If not I'm going to take another test in a few days and see what happens. Here's hoping the panty liner test holds up!

I would wait a few days and then take a pregnancy test. I had implantation bleeding with both my pregnancies, and it can be quite heavy for the first little bit. If it's really heavy bleeding and you are getting severe cramping, then it's likely your period, but if it's lighter than your normal, and you are showing other signs of pregnancy, I would think it is implantation bleeding. Plus, I know some women who have light periods for the first few months of pregnancy, I know my sister had a light period for the first 5-6 months of her pregnancy.

I hate to say it, but that sounds like what happened to me with my miscarraige. Hopefully it is implanting, but If you end up with any large clots or funny mucous, go straight to your dr. to make sure. I never had any other kind of bleeding when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I hear it could happen. I would take another test asap, then again in a week. I just can't stand the thought of not knowing. The Dollar Tree has tests that are very accurate, so for the price, I would take another today and another in a week.

i had spotting up until my 5th month of pregnancy, heavy enough for me to not know i was pregnant, i also had no symptoms of pregnancy other than fatigue and a UTI, and i took two preganancy tests both were inconclusive. even the one i took at my primary care Dr. came back a false negative. so if i were you i'd make an appointment with yer OB to get the pregnancy test, so you don't go crazy from not knowing ya know?

I think what I would do would be, wait a few days and take another pregnancy test. A non digital one though. And take it from there. But if you're worried, I'd suggest making an appt with ur ob. If I was in ur position, Im a worry-wort. I'd make an appt.

You could try and take another pregnancy test.

Even if this is a miscarriage the pregnancy hormone should be detected.

I was in a similar situation last week. I thought it was my period until I had crippling pain in my abdomen, so bad I couldn't stand. In the end I took a test, which was positive. We went to the hospital to confirm a miscarriage.

It also could be implantation cramps but I wouldn't wait to get it checked out if you are in alot of pain.

Kate, with one of my pregnancies, I actually cramped a lot and bled a bit. It must have been implantation, because I was pregnant. I hadn't expected it (I had only had a miscarriage 3 weeks before, so I thought I was getting a period, but I had all the pregnancy symptoms too). Definitely take the test. However, don't be surprised if it is negative - I had to take a second test a week later to get a positive. I had thought I'd had a light period too, but still "felt" pregnant, so did another test.

All I can say is wait a few days then take a non digital pregnancy test in the morning. It may be your period coming or it may be what you want it to be. I know for myself I didn't even know I was pregnant until I got extremely ill at work and had to be sent home. That was when I noticed no period....my friend's girlfriend had a light period the month before she knew she was pregnant so I'm crossing my fingers and hoping you get the result you want.
