have you seen your doc re: this? What age group are you in? It does get harder to get pregnant the older you are but there may be other factors as well. Have you done test to see if you are ovulating?? Is your husbands sperm still active. (his count will go down too with age). Do you have health issues that prevent pregnancy??

I tried for 4.5 yrs before i got pregnant with my second child. I did everything from fertility drugs to surgery. I found out that i have endometreosis and the tissue from that was building up making it diffiult for the sperm to reach my eggs. Also i was on the birth control drug depro provera. This drug stayed in my system for over 2yrs adding to another factor for me. My husband and i didn't want to do the invitro thing so when we decided to give up and our stress levels where low, magic happened and i became pregnant.

Stress is also a factor that you may need to consider. Try to minimize the stress in your life. Things will happen when it is right. Check with your doc to rule out a few simple things that might be preventing this from happening. Good luck and all the best :)

RELAX AND LET IT HAPPEN ON IT OWN. IF YOU KEEP TRYING IT NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. HAD A COUSIN TRYING FOR 10 YEARS AND QUIT AND FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT 6MONTHS LATER SHE WAS PREGENANT. A YEAR LATER AFTER HAVING HER BABY SHE WAS HAVING ANOTHER ONE. JUST RELAX AND THE TIME WILL COME

My husband and I were talking about not having anymore kids after we had our first two. Just after they turned 2 and 1 is when we decided that. Then I started harder to start losing my baby weight I gain for the two years in a row of being pregnant. After we came back from vacation we found out that I was almost 3 months pregnant and we weren't trying and using protection! Good Luck Hon!

It seems that when I have been most healthy is when I found out I was pregnant. Certainly no fertal mertal here....but when I have tried to loose 10 pounds or so, eating right and going to the gym and taking vitamins has done it. Good luck!

I agree with Natalie. In the meantime, only try 1 one time every three days. Sperm lie for 3 days, if you add more everyday, you are increasing the chances of them killing each other. If you try one day, then wait, you are giving them more of a chance to make it. Good luck and hope everything turns out ok. And for some encouragement, my brother tried for 7 years and finally had a healthy baby boy. Also, I know a girl who was told she wouldn't be able to carry a baby past 3 months of pregnancy. She had 2 miscarriages at 3 months (one was a set of twins). BUT Finally, she just recently had a set of healthy girl twins. So, don't give up home completely. The one's you have to wait for are the best. Good luck to you and your partner!

My husband and I started trying for #3 when our youngest son was two. After a year of active "trying" we quit trying and just didn't prevent. After a couple more years we decided it just wasn't meant to be. I was about 80 lbs overweight. I started to walk everyday, lost about 70 of the lbs over the course of a year or so. This was now 7 years after first trying. I suddenly found myself feeling queezy off and on through the days. Then I bumped into the wall and hit my boob lightly. It hurt sooo bad. Took a test found out I was pregnant. Now a year and a half later we have our little girl and are expecting #4 in about 3 weeks. I think it was just the loosing of the weight that did it for me. I don't know if you have any weight issues. It is harder to get pregnant if you're over weight.

How long have you been trying? And is it the same partner?

Our body's change so i'm not sure what to tell you. If you've been actively trying then you might wanna see a doctor and just rule out anything that might stand in the way. I mean, tubes get blocked, sperm counts can go down b/c of unhealthy eating etc. There can be many different reason. But a little bit more info would be great :-) lol
