Tummy trouble remedies

My 8 mos old has had first watery diarreah and now very very loose stools for 4 days now. I stopped feeding her everything except for rice cereal, mixed cereal, and applesauce, shes been on solids since 5 mos - and prior to the diarreah has been great with all different foods and never had any issues. She is breastfed. but I do supplement one bottle per day. Are there anything anyone can recommend? She doesnt appear to be sick in any other way and is perfectly content otherwise. Should I take her off the solids all together??

I agree with the BRAT diet like Marissa suggested: Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, and Toast. Make sure the little one is getting lots of fluids, as to not get dehydrated. If it pursists, I would take them in to see the Dr., just in case, better to be safe than sorry.

i would say diralyte natural its pwder tht mixes into water n will stop the runs n also sickness near enough straight away n also replaces the salts the child has lost

does the baby have any teeth yet? I have twin 7 month old granddaughter and they have been doing the dame thing on and off. According to their doctor(very good man) a lot of it could be drainage from cutting teeth. when they are cutting teeth they will have a lot of drainage from their sinuses and this can cause the diarrea.

I'm going through the same thing with my 8 month old son and I have been giving him the "BRAT" diet: Bananas, rice, apples and toast. It seems to be helping quite a bit. Also making sure he gets lots of water so not to get dehydrated. Hope this helps!
