We wanted Callum when my little boy was born but it was too popular so we settled for Calun Jai which we shorten to CJ. So far to date I have never heard of another Calun.

I have always loved the name Caius (pronounced Kay-us) and I have only ever heard of two guys named Caius - one was named after the Mum heard the other's name and loved it.  So if you want unique then it's worth considering. I would have had a Caius myself except for the fact that it is my hubby's friend's name and he thought that to name my child after one of his mates would have been weird!

Our 10 mth olds name is Linkin. He either gets Link or LJ (middle name John) for short. But he is my little Linky Boo which I am sure he will hate me for when he gets older. LOL I hope you finda name you like.

I named my Son Kaelen (Kalen), but decided to add the e in there at the last minute. Its a different name and yes it is a boys name ( ppl say otherwise), I love the name and I think it suits him to a tee!!!. It is a gaelic name, which is what I wanted, so it worked for us.....Hope all goes well with finding a unique name!!

Hi we named our son Caelan.  I think it is pronounced the same way as your little one's.  It means powerful warrior.  We were going to spell it Caelean but that is the girls version.  So we stuck to Caelan!  we love it!

We have a 10 month old son.  He is our first and because my husban has a scottish background we wanted a gaelic or scottish name.  So we finally found Caelan and liked it.  He is Caelan James so when he gets to school the kids can call him CJ.

We're Ukrainian and named our first son Yarema (Yah-reh-ma). Its the name of a boy in an old Ukrainian folk song who was basically was too smart for his own good. The name suits him to a tee, and he learned to sing the folk song in Ukrainian.

Our second son we named Roman. It is a common name in our culture, but not really outside of it as far as I know.

Hi, I agree!

My 8 year old son's name is Dennis (and boy does he suit it!) and 5 year old Oliver.

I had lots of unusual girls names but I struggled with unusual boys names!

Well we named our boy Brady and our girl Reilly. We chose to go with old irish names because of my heritage and i think that is the coolest. Also choosing last names is a good way to go, my husband is named Hardy after an old family friend's last name.
