Could anyone please suggest some unique or unusual boys names? Also any cool boy names you may have. Having a bit of trouble trying to find one I like! Nothing too difficult to pronounce would be great! Thank you so much ;)

My youngest sons name is Memphis Raines I get compliments about his name all the time. It's an uncommon and unique boys name but there is another Memphis that goes to his dentist

A few of our friends have sons and come out with some lovely, surprising and cool boy names...Mason, Levi, Neo, Kent, Jaxon (Jackson), Harvey. We have a three year old named Declan, which was an unusual boys name (to us) until after he was born...now we hear/see it everywhere!

I wanted to name our son Jeremiah Obediah. His name is Zedekiah Harold. Our second choice was Malachi Lee. There are some really great names in the Bible.

I loved the names Griffin and Graham, but my husband hated them. Gah. I liked Sawyer and Miles, too, as well as Connor and Emrys. The lattermost is an old Welsh name. Ultimately, we settled on Beckett.

I named my son Mason Avery. Some of my family and friends have used cool boy names like: Phoenix, Xander, Justus, Josiah, Carter, Blaze, Kaylen, and Gabriel. Hope that helps!

Hello there, my sons name is Kaiden, people are always remarking at what a nice unusual boys name it is.

[deleted account]

I once collected names for a book back in the 60's..and have seen my share of strange, beautiful and unique names. The best names are ones connected to your family. For instance, you can use your maiden name or a combo of the grandfather's names. I am not a big fan of names of old, like Odgen, but sometimes they can be updated. I did have a boy in my class named Caroll...

i have 2 sons - Logan and Jonah. we wanted our boys to have names that were not common, but that were easy to spell/pronounce and weren't considered weird. now Logan's become a more popular name but Jonah's still a pretty rare and unusual boys name . good luck!

Hey Ashleigh, My suggestions are Sonny (my brother's name), Henry (my son's) and I've always fancied the name Otto.

I'm sure you'll find your name. I didn't know my son's name until I saw him!

Good luck, Phoebe

My 16 year old daughter is Kaylin...don't like it for a boy. My son, Devin, is about to become a first-time dad, and he is looking into girl's names that are unique/not too difficult to pronounce too!

We named our son Rohnin Viper. Older generations (like 60+) don't like it, but younger generations REALLY like it, especially "Viper." It is definitely a unique boys name and one that you either LOVE or HATE!

ETA...His Great grandpa nicknamed him "RV" since he had trouble remembering his name at first, and now a lot of our family either calls him "RV" or just "Viper"

Some other cool or unusual names I've heard are: Chase, Dezmond, Zane, Winston, Stefan, Bleu, Blane, Clark, Jorge, Brennan, Spurlin, Macon, Tristan, Dathan, Colby, Donte, Nikolai, Emory, Marlin.... there's really tons out there.

My cousin just named her son Stryker Chase Eugene Avery (Avery is his last name).

My daughter's name is Lilah.

My friend's grandson is Ronan and I had never heard that before.

My sister wants to name her son Holden.

My mother's name is Jacci (pronounced Jackie)

In my opinion sticking to something normal is an good way to go. I think it is horrible to subject your child to having to spell or pronounce their name their entire life. I had a friend who named her twins Violet and Dash after the Incredibles. Sadly, they grow up and like my parents generation of friends have hippie names from the past. I.e. Peace, Love, Charity, Echo, Summer, Winter, aye yi yi... Just think about what it will be like in 20 years!
