Could anyone please suggest some unique or unusual boys names? Also any cool boy names you may have. Having a bit of trouble trying to find one I like! Nothing too difficult to pronounce would be great! Thank you so much ;)

Oh yeah, Hale is typically a surname and some people find that strange... but we loved it!

My baby boys name is Hale Ryan Haugen. I have yet to meet anyone with his first name so it's def unusual! It's pronounced like the word hail (yes the frozen rain) All I can say is my Grandmother HATES it but we love it. I'm sure you will pick the perfect name in the end!

My son goes by his middle name, Fox. At first people were kind of weird about it but now it suits him perfectly!

Anschel (An shull) & Asher are names we will give our foster children @ adoption. They both mean Happy. Asher is biblical & Anschel is a form of Asher. I believe they are unique and strong names.

My son is Ashur Harvey but I have a nephew, Tighe (Tie g) Christie and I think it's a great name too. I too look at how it will sound when the 'boy' is 40+.

I really liked Levi, Noah, Trent, Boyd, Cooper, Blake, Tobi, Sonny, Drew, Damon, Alex, Dillan. These were some of the names I really like but couldnt use cos my partner didnt. So I have boys named Shannon (I actually got to pick this one), Bradley (I wanted Damon), Sam (which is my grandfathers name, but I wanted Levi)

My sons name is Zek (pronouned Zeke). We wanted something that couldn't be shortened and that no one else had. We get compliments on it all the time. You can also go with the longer form which is Ezekiel.

Kenan or Keenan, Lars (pronounced "L" -"are" -"sss"), Colin (pronounced "call in"), Neveahyous (pronounced "nev-ay-yuss", heaven spelled backwards followed by "yous" to make a masculine form of "Neveah")

Some suggestions, Carter, Ethan, Stacey, Mitchell, Harrison, Shay, Donte, Derren. There are loads of names I like for boys, but I had two girls. Look at Amercian websites for names they have some unusual ones.

Our son's name is Lucas Ryle -- we chose it because the name has been around a long time, is not something that's super trendy and we also felt he'd be able to grow into it. I think that last part is important; don't just think of a name that will work for a baby, but also for a man, especially if he goes into professional field such as a doctor or lawyer. If I have to have surgery and my surgeon's name is something like Madison or Cayden, I'm going to think to myself if s/he holds her scalpel like s/he holds her Crayons... just food for thought.

Hi, my son's name is Ziggi. Others we considered were Rueben, Levi, Kasper / Kaspa, Rocco, Cruz, Braxus, and Rhune.

[deleted account]

I thought I had a good formula: a biblical name and a name from the country of our ancestors (Great Britain) so we used Daniel, Andrew, Ethan (all biblical) and Gareth, (King Arthur legend), Andrew (patron saint of Scotland). Also looked at names of ancestors from doing genealogy: Benjamin, Levi, Henry, Lee, Karl, Byron,

Hello there, my sons name is Kaiden, people are always remarking at what a nice unusual boys name it is.

[deleted account]

I once collected names for a book back in the 60's..and have seen my share of strange, beautiful and unique names. The best names are ones connected to your family. For instance, you can use your maiden name or a combo of the grandfather's names. I am not a big fan of names of old, like Odgen, but sometimes they can be updated. I did have a boy in my class named Caroll...

i have 2 sons - Logan and Jonah. we wanted our boys to have names that were not common, but that were easy to spell/pronounce and weren't considered weird. now Logan's become a more popular name but Jonah's still a pretty rare and unusual boys name . good luck!

We named our son Rohnin Viper. Older generations (like 60+) don't like it, but younger generations REALLY like it, especially "Viper." It is definitely a unique boys name and one that you either LOVE or HATE!

ETA...His Great grandpa nicknamed him "RV" since he had trouble remembering his name at first, and now a lot of our family either calls him "RV" or just "Viper"
