Hi :-) for those who haven't heard the term.....VBAC is a vaginal delivery (for 2nd pregnancy) after having a C-Section performed the first time. I am just wondering if anyone out there has had one (or know someone who has) and what their experiences were like. I have been back and forth between both choices. I still have 2 months to make my decision. I do know there is more risk involved when doing a VBAC after already having a C-Section, but if I do a VBAC my husband will be able to deliver our son. I'm wondering because there's only a 1% chance of something going wrong, if that outways the chance of a lifetime for my husband! Any thoughts????

My second delivery was VBAC. It was a very good delivery. I was much more relaxed through the labor and wouldn't take the pitocin until I had my epidural. The doctor did use the vacuum to help get the boy's noggin out but then his shoulders were smooth sailing. I had only 3 stitches. I had a STEAK dinner after the delivery-way way better than the liquid diet. LOL I was up and walking within a hour. I knew going in what the risks were, just like I knew that I could end up having a c-section like before if the baby got stuck or ran into trouble. Labor and delivery always has the unknown in it as does a schedualed c-section. I was glad I did VBAC-it was a wonderful and life-altering experiance.

My second pregnancy was VBAC my first c section was beacuse baby was in a transverse lay could not turn her at all inposible to deliver so i had a planed c section. My second i wanted to try a normal delivery but it did not work, The reason is my cervix would not dialate enough, you see i had lazer treatment on my cervix about a year after my first daughter so there was to much scar tissue on the cervix But damm it i did give it a go 20hrs labour later we had to get c section . I have herd and talked to more than a few moms that have done it naturally after c section i say go for it, naturally is always the better option if you can do it
