My daughter is turning 2 years old and I want to throw her a party and keep it really, really simple. Our apartment is small, I was thinking of keeping it at home, but I know little kids need space. So I'm thinking of a park, hoping that the weather is nice, what advice can you give.

Thanks Gwen, unfortunately my apartment complex doesn't have that, but i can do just that at her favorite park.

Before I read your post, I was going to suggest the park. Is there even a big lawn somewhere at your apartment complex? If so, you could borrow a pop up tent from someone and set up a few card tables w/ chairs. Have a few beach balls and stuff to entertain the kids. Cake and ice cream or popsicles would be super easy!

Personally, I'd limit the party to immediate family or very close friends. At that age, there is really no need to invite lots of 2 year old "friends".
