my son was 8 months old and running all over where my daughter is 13 months and jsut learning to is she slower then normal??

No. She's perfectly normal. He was early. :)

'Normal' start to walk age is 9-18 months. Earlier (as you've already experienced) and even a bit later can be perfectly normal as well.

My girls took their first steps at 10.5 months. My son was 9 months. I was 18 months. :)

So true Amy, my first daughter didnt crawl until 14.5 months :) its more common then people realise

My daughter is 13 months old and started crawling on Saturday, before that she scooted on her butt, on Sunday she started walking! Like Mel said they all do things differently, thank goodness because how boring life would be if everything was the same.

no shes fine every kid does things at different times. My daughter is 9 months and cant even crawl yet and barely sit up. They all get there in the end
