When my husband and I were trying to get pregnant someone told me to drink green tea. It's suppose to make the inner lining of your uterus more sticky, so the egg is more likely to catch. I drank it while we were trying and we got pregnant within 2 months. Good luck!

A couple other things that may help.. tracking days of they cycle isn't enough, you need to watch the mucous too.. google for details.. it takes soem reading to get the idea..

and make sure, if you are using any lubricant, that its not going to have any spermicidal effects! one thing many of us don't know is that some lubricants contain spermicides which will, ultimately, defeat your purpose!

do you have regular periods? i have PCOS( poly cystic ovarian syndrome) and the only way i have periods is if i am on the pill. i was off the pill for 2 years trying to get pregnant and it never happened so i talked to an OB/GYN and he put me on clomid which is a fertility pill. 6 months later i became pregnant so you may have PCOS, talk to an OB/GYN if you can (sometimes you have to be referred by your regular doctor, i did). and actually relaxing about it and not thinking about it helps also, the 5th month on the fertility pill i was getting upset that i wasn't pregnant yet, didn't think it would happen, so i told my husband that i wanted to stop the pill and let nature do it's course and low and behold that next month i was pregnant!! so tons of luck to you, there is nothing better than being a mom ;)) let me know how it's going, i know it's hard esspecially when a baby is always on your mind, but just relax and have fun trying:))

Have you and your husband seen a doctor? I would start there. If that's okay. Prayer, Nutrition and Excercise.

you can track your cycle at www.mycycle.com There are several factors to consider, thyroid, ovulation, sperm count, health weight, age, times of sex, type of periods, number of children, stress levels, diet...... I would make an appt with your ob/gyn to start looking at why. They will probably do simple blood work to see if your thyroid is working properly since that controls ovulation. STart there and also try not to

"work" at the sex thing. Hard I know! But babies are much harder to make then some people think.

Ten years is a long time if you have been actively trying. If you are looking to keep a journal, I would highly suggest investing in the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor. Generally you have to get it from behind the counter at the pharmacy (only because it is a higher costing item). Or you can get them on E-bay. If you go the E-bay way, I would only buy new, as a used monitor can transfer bacteria etc and it also takes the monitor at least 3 months to learn your cycle after it has one already established. At the beginning of your cycle, you turn it on and set it to Day 1. Then every day following, you try to turn it on at the same time every day (generally when you first get up in the morning, because when you have to start testing, you need your first morning urine). It does give you a window of +/- 3 hours from the initial time that you turned it on, so if your first day you turned it on at 6:30 am...you could turn it on anywhere between 3:30 am and 9:30 am.....the monitor will tell you what days you actually will need to POAS (pee on a stick) and run a test. When the monitor reads that you are ovulating, it will show it on the screen. It is a tad bit expensive, but if you are serious about getting pg, it is a good investment.

As for clomid...be very careful if your OB/GYN prescribes it for you. Yes, it can work, and there are many success rates for it, but there are some women that are so sensitive to it, that it can overstimulate the ovaries, and you could actually lose an ovary if you are not careful. The best care to be under when taking any fertility drug is a Fertility Specialist. They will monitor you throughout your cycle and make sure that you are doing o.k through both bloodwork and ultrasounds, they know what to look for and what to do if something is not quite right!

God's Blessings!

well i had an issue trying to get pregnant as well took me almost 3 years without protection for me and my hubby to get pregnant yet with my first son it was almost instant, yet it took so long with my baby i am pregnant with right now, i thought something was wrong with me or him and it was so fustrating, and right when we were about to see a fertility speciallist it happened, the test turned positive, anyways i bought a book called how to get pregnant for couples trying, anyways in there there were a few things it mentioned to try that can improve your chances, one was the position your choosing when you make love, missionary position or entry from behind puts the sperm deposit as close to the cervix as you can get it, also you dont want to get up right away you want to lay on your back with a pillow under your hips for about half an hour after wards. u want to do all the tracking with your menstural cycle as well, also there are certain vitamins, that you can take that help the sperm along a little bit, folic acid is good for men as well, helps his swimmers be stronger, get him on a multivitamin, take a multivitamin for woman as well, hope this helps a little

you may have tried this aready but make a journal of your cyles. Like when you ovulate. Women usually have a increase in egg white consistancy discharge at time of ovulations. Some women have pain in one side or the other as well. Ovulation usualy occurs two weeks before the start of your period but varies from woman to woman. When you know your ovulating or about to have sexual intercouse every other day. The day of rest allows for the sperm supply to build back up.

If you have been actively trying for 10 years it may be time to seek some help form a fertility clinic. The journal of your cycles will also help if you do decide to go to a fertility clinic. Hope this helps and good luck.

WOW TEN YEARS!!! well being how i don't know the whole story, maybe if you just relax and let it happen, or i dont mean to get to personal, but if you don't orgasm at the same time, after he cums inside you play with your self a little just to open your cervix up and with the heightened arousal the seaman will enter and find its way other than that go to a fratility clinic and get tested, both parties it could go either way. hope that helps just a little bit anyways sorry to get so graphic but there is no other way to explain it lol
