Try enfamil AR. My son used to spit up all the time, my ped. said to try it. We do serve it warm and it did lessen his spit ups. We have been on it for two months and now he hardly ever spits up.

It might not have anything to do with the temp. it might be gas. Try a different formula or try soy. Also, Camomile tea is safe for babies. It helps with upset stomache and constipation.

My daughter has acid reflux but will take what temp the bottle is shes not picky either way it went she would still spit it up. Anyway my daughter is on the premaid Similac Alimentum its a hypoallergenic formula and she does very well on it. When the doctor switched her to that they gave us samples of the premaid and powder she spit up ALOT on the powdered formula so we tried the premaid and she doesn't spit up anymore. I found that the premaid settled with her tummy more so then the powdered. Try to switch it to the premaid if he's on the powder or powder if hes on the premaid and see if that helps. Or try some rice cereal in his bottle but would watch him cuz cereal has a tendency to contsipate (spelling) kids. Good Luck and i hope you find what works for you baby!

I tried them ice cold, room temp, and warm...none of them helped. With both of my kids I had to start putting baby rice in their bottle and it definately reduced the amount they spat up.

i always give my daughter warm, she doesn't like cold haha. she wont take it. there is some rice you can get to put in his bottle, just a little bit though. it helps keep the food sitcking to the stomach.

sometimes a warm bottle helps but gripe water always helps get the stuff from brittan becasue it has fewer ingrediants and you will have heard of them all. Also i dont know if he is on formula but if he is he might have a lactose allergy ask your doctor before switching but it is so verry common, mine had it and dont worry becasue it dosnt condem them to lactose intolleance forever, mine has recently started toleration milk

Warm bottles are better for the stomach no matter reflux or not, but my son had GERD as well, and he would only take warm formula, but cold milk once he began milk... his doc. said that the cold milk may feel better on his esophagus than warm milk... so that's prob. why he would only take cold. try the warm, he may take better, but what you may want to do is talk to the doc. about meds. for him. My son had to take prevacid and that worked like magic... it helped stop the GERD and heald the esophagus, you must remember, the longer they spit up, the more damage the esophagus gets... Talk to your doc. asap!!!

I have heard that warm bottles can equal less spit up, but working in a daycare, I have not really noticed a difference. I am guessing you are giving your baby a sensitive formula? Is there a more sensitive formula available to try?

I always did warm bottles, just didn't seem so harsh to me. But if he will do either; great. Have you tried getting him adjusted by a chirpractor? My son was adjusted at 6 weeks and every month or two after that, aned never spit up or threw up, and was rarely sick and he was only breast fed for a few weeks. Just thought for you.

hi my baby is taking bottles of formula since 9 months till that i breastfeed her. i had to change to bottle cause she just refused me... and when i tried to give warm she didnt like it n stayed without milk for 24 hours. when i gave her room temp bottle she liked it and we keep the same. if your baby is under 1 year doctors and my mom told me to use boiled water. after 1 y its ok unboiled. my baby started to have more gas problems when she started formula. i massage het belly with onion juice and it works great. she might spit cause of gaz or coz of being too full.

When my daughter was little, I gave her warm bottles, warm milk helps the body relax, help babies sleep and I found it lessened reflux.

I am not sure if it would help in your case, but I do know parents who gave both of their kids cold bottles (actually put them in the fridge to make them cold) and they always had gas and spit up. Both of my boys have taken warm bottles, and will/would take cold, but it always seemed to upset their bellies more. It might be worth a try! : ) good luck!!!

My son seems to do best with room temperature ones. Not exactly cold but not warm either. What type of formula do you use? We did the best with the Similac Sensitive (Walmart and Target brand of it work just as well).

my daughter used to spit up all the time. i gave her warm and cold bottles, and neither one seemed to make a difference. once she got a ltle bit older though she seemed to stop spiting up more.
